You have the right to live a life with no restrictions and with the ability to take full advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. Many times a lot of us run in to an opportunity to change our lives but how can we possibly do that if we don’t have the resources.

The truth is when you have no financial restrictions or burdens of any kind you have the ability to empower yourself and develop both your mind and soul. This is the reason why everyone from all walks of life deserves the right to be rich.

The Law of Forgiveness

The one universal law with the most extreme consequences is The Law of Forgiveness.

To forgive is to break the bond of hate, intolerance, anger, criticism; emotions that can inhabit our hearts and rot our soul. To not forgive is to harbor ancient negative vibrations that bond you to another human being in the most ruinous manner possible.

The law of Forgiveness is a teaching mechanism which helps you to take back the power you may have squandered on ill will toward others. When you practice forgiveness, you find that others begin to treat you differently.

Instead of reacting to your vengeful attitude with their own closed-off distrust, other people begin to open up and share their warmth with you. Some will appreciate you to such a degree that they will open themselves to you and give whatever they can to aid you.

This is the universe working in harmony after forgiveness has cleared the way for peace.

Nothing will grow to fruition in your garden as long as there is unforgiveness in your heart. And serious diseases can develop as a result of the stress and pressure that bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness place on you.

Most people admire and respect strong individuals, who have won great success by manifesting will power and self discipline. For example, footballer Ronaldo who is the most expensive player in the world now. He combined natural talent, nurture and hardwork to achieve what he is today, with the world under his both feet. A lot of young men around the world admire him for what he is. Girls swoon over him too I guess.

Marie says everyone can reach high levels of will power and self-discipline through proper care and disciple. These inner power are not reserved for a few special people.

What is will power?

It is the inner strength to make a decision, take action, and handle and execute any aim or task until it is accomplished, regardless of inner and outer resistance, discomfort or difficulties.

It bestows the ability to overcomes laziness, temptations and negative habits, and to carry out actions, even if they require effort, are unpleasant and tedious or are contrary to one’s habits.

What is self discipline?

It is the rejection of instant gratification in favor of something better. It is the giving up of instant pleasure and satisfaction for a higher and better goal.

It manifests as the ability to stick to actions, thoughts and behavior, which lead to improvement and success. Self-discipline is self-control, and it manifests in spiritual, mental, emotional and physical discipline.

thankful

Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire.

If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don’t know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Pick up something new

I think I will be taking this time to learn something new, or read some books about economy, and i look forward to my forthcoming 1 week leave. Too bad that I will not be going anywhere, and hence will just be staying home do some house maintenance work. Or maybe a short 2 or 3 days trip to Genting as the weather down is freaking hot!

I believe that once we start to pick up something new, something newer which you have never come across in life will come in. Then you will say “WOW” and ask why you have not learned of that previously, as it is something really amazing! For example, that day, a friend starts to learn guitar at the grand old age of 40. He has been thinking of this idea since 30! Ten years for him to take action. But in one of his guitar lessons, he befriends a charming divorcee and they hit it off immediately. Now he tells me he’s the happiest man in the world!

So this can happen to you, me or anyone. Something invigorating may happen once you try something out of your comfort zone. It can start with reading about a certain subject, than finding a class in your area on that subject, meeting new people there, making new friends, finding a new hobby,… Most of the time it starts with one little step.

I don’t know where I’ll go from here, but here’s where I am now and I’m trying to learn things about awareness, consciousness, creativity, enjoying life,… I know this will get me somewhere new. Until then I will be carrying a sense of uneasiness with me, but that’s ok. Everything will turn out just fine.

So my advice would be: pick a subject, any subject and start learning.

Time really flies…it has been nearly 2 years since i first blog. I think my blog is boring. Short of colourful pictures and graphics. Luckily, there are some regular dose of visitors. Not many.

At I started it a blogspot, and i later o, i heard wordpress is better, and it look me 1 day to bring it over from blogspot to wordpress. So you can understand my blogging level. The one at blogspot has been deleted as I find here is better.

The intention of this blog is easy and simple. I think an outlet to write down my feelings, about things, about life, about what people think of Marie Callas. It has taught me new knowledge in this internet world. Each day I am learning a lot and from different perspective, so blog is a tool for me to be a small time bedroom writer.

Family gathering

As i drove my MyVi down a rural road last week, there on the side of the sandy trail around the corner from my uncle’s home was a flock of ducks. I think they are beautiful and chirpy. But sadly, i guess they are going to be sent to slaughter house soon to satisfy the gourmet taste of people. I was charmed by this sight as I grew up in a Chinese kampung full of farm animals.

There was a mild shower earlier hence the sandy road has lots of potholes and the white feathers were rather dirty. The shower came at the right time as it was really scorching hot last couple of weeks in mid 30C.
Now, it is gentle and breezy but i know it will get stuffy again soon. The hills and fields are lush green, and there was just enough breeze to keep trees swaying.

I had a great family gathering at my old uncle’s house. It has been some time since I visited them. His eldest grandson is already coming to 20! This tells me how old i am now!!! haha..

Well, i still count my blessings for this warm family ties. It’s a heritage in this country.

Gratitude

Sincerely expressing gratitude for the good things you have in life is one of the best ways to live a more meaningful life. Many times we just take things for granted; we complain about things when you should be feeling good about.

People, pets, a home, laughter, peaceful life, or haviee what you have to be thankful for and relish in the feeling. Focus on the ordinary moments of life that bring you joy and thankfulness. Focus on the good traits of the people around you and not on what you consider bad traits.

Do the same for your own self and as you find your ‘grateful’ eyes and use them daily, the Universe will attract to you more to be grateful for.

Since it is Mother’s Day today, express your gratitude to your mother who had brought you up to what you are today. You will be surprised by the magic and power of your act..
