Stress comes to everyone of us. Stress can be normal job stress or severe to the extent of depression. That is why people need to relax to let go of the stress built up inside, if not it may lead to health issues, which are apparent in many working class souls, like headaches, gastric, or depression. These are elementary stages of physical health problems due to stress, and if not taken care of, it could build up and lead to serious illnesses like heart attack or diabetes.
I have read a book by Marie Callas who says one good way to take care of stress is to go for “music therapy“.
It has been proved scientifically that listening to right kind of music promotes mental functioning and spiritual healing, there after, makes a person calmer, more relaxed and more creative. Music heightens mental functioning, promotes healing and helps you feel calm and relaxed. I guess the rhythm and beat of the music calms a person down and I heard the it has to do with the brain frequency. Hence it is mental healing therapy and it releases your tensed up mental muscles, so your worries are thrown to the back of the alley.
Marie Callas even says that if we listen to music with positive and inspirational music, it will subconsciously feed you with positive affirmations all the time and this is catching two birds with a single swoop of the net. So it will surround you with positive energy instead of negative energy. The positive energy should decrease your stress levels.
My take is, my kind of music may not be your kind of music, hence there is no right or wrong. Some say Mozart is good for creativity while some may think Linkin Parks perks them up better. So whatever you choose to listen to should make you feel comfortable and makes you mentally better.
Ultimately, make sure your nerves feels soothed. That way you’ll know if it is a positive type of music for your individual taste.
Have a relaxing time de-stressing with music!
