INSPIRATION can be a powerful thing.

INSPIRATION can keep you going when all around you cries out “quit!”

INSPIRATION is even more powerful than motivation, as motivation gives you your basic reasons to keep going.

INSPIRATION tells you why you want to do what you do, because motivation is based on goals.

INSPIRATION fills those reasons with hope, possibility and enjoyment and keeps the “grind” from becoming too grindy.

Numerology, Astrology, and Universal Indicators: Each Has Unique Meaning For Any Given Person

Next time you hear talk about how tough (or wonderful) an upcoming planetary transit, conjunction, retrograde, Solar eclipse, opposition, or other astrological or numerological event is going to be, take it with a grain of salt. It may be rough for you, or it may be good for you, depending on your unique comprehensive charts.Universal indicators such as a Lunar eclipse, the date 8-8-08, or a full Moon, for example are regularly, erroneously labeled “good” or “bad,” or “lucky” or “unlucky,” but any single universal vibration or indicator, even the most notorious, relates to any given person in a unique way, in various amounts of reward or challenge. It’s necessary to find out what any given indicator means to you personally and avoid making generalizations that serve only to tarnish the reputation of the sciences.

Universal vibrations such as Saturn in Virgo, Mars Retrograde, “6-6-06,” Leo Moon, Universal Year, etc. often get more attention, but the personal vibrations, such as Mercury Retrograde transiting a natal 7th house Mercury (Mercury return), Personal 19-year cycle, Saturn transiting a natal 10th, Personal 7-year cycle, etc. are more important and relevant.

Yes, the universal energy is important, but how it harmonizes with your natal charts prevails. For example, even though there might be a higher than usual probability of a single universal indicator, such as Mars retrograde symbolizing an ill-fated auto purchase, or a full Moon and Lunar eclipse combination being symbolic of a botched surgical procedure, even the worst of the universal indicators may not apply to you personally or symbolically make any impact whatsoever.

Please don’t give universal indicators, such as transiting Mars conjunct transiting Venus, a grand cross, Star of David formation, etc., more importance than they deserve or you’ll risk sounding like the cosmic foo-foo, New Age folks who unintentionally give metaphysics a bad name (anyone remember the “Harmonic Convergence” several years back?).

A Solar eclipse at 9 degrees Leo (with supporting indicators) could represent deep challenges for person A, but signify great rewards for person B. Or, an 8 vibration (e.g., medium-term or long-term, or even a short-term cycle, with corroborating considerations) can be a breeze for person A, but be rough for person B.

It’s also key to remember that the energy of any single indicator, such as Sun in hard aspect to Mars, malefic Arabic part conjunct Ascendant, Saturn transit, a long-term numerological cycle such as a 36-year cycle, or any of the other 500+ considerations, is either supported or wiped out by the energy of the others. In other words, there is no “this (one single consideration) means that (a specific life circumstance or event)” if you value accuracy in numerology, astrology, handwriting analysis, or any other form of personality analysis or prediction.

Universal considerations in numerology and astrology can be compared to the weather. Everyone experiences a snow or rain storm differently; some have great troubles because of it, some enjoy the changes and beauty it brings and for some it’s not even noticed; it’s a non- event.

While it’s true that universal indicators have more potency than personal, personal indicators have more relevancy to you, so you’ll benefit by paying attention to both.

Learning How to Let Go

Learning How to Let Go
As a self styled phenomenologist I like to break things down to their smallest part. In my day job I also have a natural desire and policy to do less and earn more. I semi retired seven years ago at the age of 52. I owned a very successful business and was working seven days a week and a short day was 10 hours. I had enough, and lost interest in the business. I closed it down and took a year and a half off. During this time I set out on my journey of spiritual awareness, and I starting reading books and writing articles. I took on a day job to supplement my savings and income. My career as a salesman allowed me lots of freedoms to do my writing and manage my web site that was growing bigger and more popular every day. The current writing and web site management take up a lot of my time. For the last five and a half years I have considered my writing and web site as my work and my day job as my paying hobby. In our sales meetings and in one-on-one meetings with the owner, he has said that any salesman who is not on the job to make money first shouldn’t be in a sales job. He and I have had head to head combat with this philosophy. Although he may be correct in his opinion, he is plainly expressing a limited philosophy in my view. He simply does not understand my philosophy about my job and why I am there. My present philosophy is really very simple, and is just the different path I like it. My response to his constant question about why I am there is multifold. I need the divergence so I don’t die in front of my computer, and getting off my butt is a good thing. I need inspiration and an alternate environment-I am on the road four hours a day and in four to six homes five days a week. I am by nature very reclusive and shy, and I go out of my way to avoid people. However in my work, I am just the opposite. People don’t believe me when I tell them how introverted I am. The job provides me the chance to interact with people on their level and in the comfort of their homes. It is the connection I need with others. Because I specialize in the study of manifesting, my job has given me great opportunity to consider how it works virtually. Over the years I have modified my selling approach many times to try and achieve and maintain my position on the job. I have been a trainer and a supervisor. I have been at the bottom and the top, and I have never been one to remain content with the status quo or to remain in the same position. The job is a buffet of opportunities for me to write about my experiences and the different individuals I work with. I have run the gammed of emotions on the job. I have been given other opportunities to help and I seldom turn them down when asked. It is the perfect job for me-not for the money-but for all the other opportunities it brings to me. I have discovered a gold mine, and have gained great insight into how to manifest what I desire. Finally after nearly six years on the job, I have adapted a philosophy and have made a great discovery about my favourite subject. The owner and I have made a straightforward agreement about the percentage that he will pay me. I have no issues with that. He has guaranteed me four qualified leads a day and sometimes as many as six. We also agreed I could have more if I wanted them. Between the leads that are generated by the telemarketers, I also receive referrals and office leads (customers who have phoned in). My job definition is quite very simple-just sell. My new approach as to how I maintain my job and give the boss what he wants is even simpler. I do as little as possible. I believe if I do my job effectively, I will have all that I desire from it and the bonus reward will be a paycheck that will reflect my initiative. My focus now, as it was in the outset, is not about the money. The money will come when the job is done. I learned over the years to stop counting the money or worrying about how much I have sold and how close I am to getting bonuses and duly achieving my targets. I try not to think about cancellations, break-downs and human error. My new thoughts are-just do the job-the money will come. I have been able to demonstrate this philosophy and it is working. I am doing less and the money is getting better. I am not trying to control the current situation any longer-in fact I try to forget about the situation and give it little thought. I still have to catch myself periodically from counting or watching over my numbers. Things are happening in my job of which I have no jurisdiction over that is making my job easier. We are now in the off season for our products and services. The telemarketers are having difficulty supplying the salespeople with leads and we are sitting on the side of the road for hours-waiting. I am now making more money and doing less. I am making money by just sitting on the side of the road waiting for leads. Because there are now fewer leads, the office manager is phoning previous customers and booking my calls from an old database. The closing rate on these leads is about 85% as apposed to a closing rate of about 50% on the cold calls. He is working harder and I am sitting on the side of the road for most of my shift and earning more money. I have no conscious control over these events. However, at a subconscious level I am participating in the manifesting of them. I was asked this week not to come into the sales meetings in the morning. I have always been apposed to them as I don’t see them as informative or motivating. When I first started we had a meeting every day. I made so much noise over the years; I got them down to twice a week. Now I don’t have to go in at all. Yesterday I was given the choice to come in or not-it has now become my choice-I think once a week is perfect. I love this job, it is now working for me, and I am not working for it. I started off working 6 hours a day, six days a week. I am now working four hours a day and five days a week. All the opportunities are there for me-they just keep coming. There is only one thing I have to do, and that is sell. The job, the money and all the others things I cherish about the job will take care of themselves. They will not, only when I try to control them. As far as the money goes, I have a clear desire about what I require to receive at the close of the pay period. Between the beginning of the pay period and the end of it, I will do little to try and control how I get it. My philosophy is working-the boss gets what he wants in the end, and so do I. It’s the perfect marriage. This article, hundreds more, and my books are all an outcome of this philosophy. It has been the greatest gift from my job. It is worth much more than the money I am earning. My success is manifested by a desire and my own unique perspective. This philosophy may not work for others. There are some who would completely disagree with what I have written, and yet I am living proof that it has worked. We are all great manifesters, few of us realize it, and once we try to understand the process our thoughts often get in the way of how it should work. We trip over our own feet. Keep it simple-do your job and take advantage of the opportunities which you are drawing to yourself. If I was really wise, I would stop writing about these things. Just the very act of writing about it, changes it. Being true to my nature I must look deeper and by doing so, I am going to stick my foot in my mouth. However, this is going to create another opportunity for another article. By doing less in my job and earning more, I have created the opportunity to do more with my writing and that is what I enjoy the most. I have also become more aware of opportunities and choices. It is important to understand that by doing less, I don’t mean being irresponsible. I simply mean if you take full responsibility for your job and know the results of your work, it will bring you what you desire-you will work less and earn more. If you try to maintain control of the steps to your goal-you will eventually lose site of it. If you let go, the probable opportunities will come to you, and then it is simply about making good choices.

'The Secret' To Manifesting. . .
“I just got a FREE new car. I was in Missouri the last couple of days to pick it up and I’m now driving through Texas heading home to Monterey Park (California). Texas is soooo beautiful!” Elaine’s upbeat voice was a welcome change from Mary’s dreary monotone thirteen cellphone minutes ago. The somnambulous crawl of freeway traffic momentarily transported my mind into a remote reverie. I was baffled by the diametric contrast in results produced by these two women who appeared similar on the outside. Both are highly intelligent and spiritual. While Mary complained about having tried everything ‘under the sun’ yet still couldn’t make anything work to get her life together, Elaine, on the other hand, everytime I spoke with her, would recount how happy she is that the very thing she thought about has appeared swiftly. . . Again! Elaine told me that when her husband left her many years ago and she was left with five little children to clothe and feed, she decided to ‘Let Go’ and get busy manifesting. She didn’t get a J.O.B., she said, because a mother should be there to stay home and raise her children. Now, all her kids are grown and have all graduated college. She told me that the Universe always provide for her exactly at the moment she needs it! Her life, it appears to me, is an embodiment of ‘The Secret’. I meandered around the malfunctioning pick-up truck with it’s blinking hazard lights and soon was free to speed the fast lane of the Los Angeles 110. Almost right then, I realized that the missing piece was in the ‘Letting Go’, Surrendering, or more precisely, in the Letting Go of Resistance. Many people, it turned out, were mainly focusing on the Law Of Attraction as the ONLY tool, with the exclusion of everything else. In the March 26, 2007 Edition of the Oprah Winfrey Show: “What I believe about the law of attraction, I want to clarify it,” Oprah says. “I want to say it’s a tool. It is not the answer to everything. It is not the answer to atrocities or every tragedy. It is just one law. Not the only law. And certainly, certainly, certainly not a get-rich-quick scheme. The law of attraction is a tool that can help you decide what you want your life to be, and then begin to help you focus on making the best choices through action to create that life.” In my own life, I’ve found ‘Letting Go’ to be an important pre-requisite to the Law Of Attraction. Because to attract what I want, I first need to be clear with a fair degree of conviction/certainty ‘feeling’; and, in order to reach clarity, I needed to drop sufficient amounts of subconscious conflicting programs, thoughts and beliefs that often gets in the way. Ultimately, it’s not the becoming and acquiring itself that makes us happy, but the quieting of the mind. When we arrive at that pristine place of quiet within ourselves, we access the Planck Scale (referred to by Physicists as the sub-basement of Matter) with consciousness and create from intuition, deep within the heart of the atomic zero-point where the Universe goes to create time and space. This is possible when we empty out and let go. . . Please watch my future blogs to find out ‘Why’ time seem to be speeding up and the rate of change in the cosmos accelerating, the relevance of new, unique, emerging, quick non-thinking tools that will allow people to live in harmonious synchrony with the coming cycles and prosper within it in abundant flow. The only difference between stuckness and a breakthrough, in my opinion, is Inspiration or the ‘Influx of New Information.’ If some of the things I have said here has struck a resonant chord within you, then I recommend you bookmark this blog www.TheSecretInsights.Com in your ‘favorites’ right away, because future issues will reveal some very interesting materials you probably will not find anywhere else.

I believe that Jesus is the only medium for a relationship with God not just because of the Biblical writings but my heart tells me so. Writing is what I enjoy doing most. Earlier in my life, I had many of what appeared to be obstacles but were really lessons. Writing is my way of giving back to the world. It is my prayer that you will be nourished and fed with these words.

You're Only Human
No matter how much positive energy you have, and no matter how enlightened you think you are, there are going to be times when you find yourself in another place. All too often those of us who are aware of our spiritual nature forget that we are also human, and subject to human emotions, depression and negative energy. You are here to experience the human condition and for practical experience it doesn’t really matter how spiritual you think you are-you will experience all things physical. What your spiritual awareness or enlightenment brings to you are opportunities to experience something really positive when things are crashing down around you. All your awareness does not serve you and is of little value if you cannot put it to good use in your human experience. To maintain your positive energy and forward motion it is good practical sense to surround yourself with people and things which represent that positive energy. The more sources you have of positive energy the more likely you will maintain your own higher levels. We are surrounded daily by people and circumstances which offer us opportunities to test this energy. These opportunities are gifts as they bring positivity into your awareness and a chance to demonstrate it. You cannot be positive if you do not know you are positive. It is important you have many sources of this positive energy. It is not good practice to rely on only one source-sources fluctuate and dry up. Be careful to select people and places which offer the greatest potential to recharge your batteries. It is not important that you should always be giving, and the greatest gift you can give to another is an opportunity for them to give back to you. It is a wonderful time that allows them to express themselves positively-to demonstrate who they are and it doesn’t always have to be about you-giving. It is important and practical for you to recognize when negative thoughts or events come into your awareness as early as possible. It is you opportunity to turn the situation around in your head. It is also an indicator of how high or low your positive energy levels really are. It may be an occasion to positively demonstrate your wisdom and turn things around in your favour. It is important not to be negative about negativity. View these occasions as positive opportunities and not life threatening events-you are human, and you are subject to human emotion and feelings-it is a blessing, not a sentence. My first realization of this occurred when I was a young boy and I deliberately stepped on a priests toes several times to get his attention-he was angry with me! It’s OK to be spiritual, holy, aware, full of positive energy, and still experience emotions. At the time I was devastated, but soon realized I would also be angry if someone steps on my toes several times. All too often we place ourselves and others on pedestals and expect them and ourselves to live up to unnatural expectations. The truism, “You’re only human” is a natural fact of life. It’s good to remember it from time to time while you are trying to be something more than human.

Ask Before You Help
Recently a friend of mine submitted an article to me she wrote about helping out in nature. After reading the article I was so excited about how well it was done and the message it conveyed, that I was inspired to write an article about her. I immediately published her article to my directory as well as the article I wrote about her. With all the good intentions of helping her I made two major mistakes. First I judged her situation. Over the years she has given selflessly and has received little compensation for her efforts. From what she has told me, people seek her advice but are unwilling to compensate her for it. Many times she has told me she is just so tired of helping others and not having it returned. Knowing this I set out to write my article and direct people to her article so that maybe they would visit her site and help her. I did this without her knowledge and with the beautiful message of her article still resonating with me. The lesson in her article was very clear-sometimes when you set out to help, you make things worse! I apparently misjudged her and her situation. I published the article and uploaded it to my site. While I was doing that I was having a chat with her online. I told her about my article and how it may help her. She read the article a little bit later and returned an email to me. She was devastated that I would write such an article about her. I had gotten it all wrong and I had hurt her, and she didn’t know how I could have done such a thing. I immediately removed the article from my site before anyone had seen it, but it was too late-the damage had already been done. It was now personal. It’s been over a week since the article was published and she has not returned my email or chatted with me. Clearly I blew it. After all the articles and books I have written with this one message in it-I did it myself. I committed spiritual malpractice. I made a judgment and acted on it, without knowing the intention of the soul-her soul. As the saying goes “The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.” Because we can never know what the true intentions of one’s soul is, when we interfere no matter how well intentioned we are, we interrupt a natural process that can have harmful effects. This is spiritual malpractice. Even if the outcome seems to be more positive on the surface, it may not have been the intention of the soul to experience that outcome. It is OK to offer help to someone, but it is not OK to give it without asking no matter what your intentions are. I think this is something we all do from time to time. We may never no the after effects of what we have done, but we may have delayed a desired result for the other one’s spirit. The very best we can do for another without their permission is to wish them well. We are not interfering with a natural result and we are sending positive energy to that person. Sorry my friend and thank you for a lesson well learned.

Living For The Moment Is What We Need
Over time, our body as a whole starts degenerating. Our muscles start losing power and shape. Wrinkles start appearing on our face. The neurons in our brain start becoming less active. They are all beyond our control because that is nature. What remains in our control then? It is none other then our mind. What we think is well within our control. We feel positive or negative according to what happens around or to us. What we are today is a total sum of thought patterns which we have allowed throughout our life from the first day we started thinking. This is why it does not really matter what happens to us in life. What really matters is how we respond to each and every situation. Probably a perfect situation does not exist. We cannot get anything in full. That is why we have to make full use of what we have in hand. We have to learn to live fully each moment of our lives to the best of our abilities. Living for the moment is what we need. The mind is so unpredictable. Our emotions and thoughts are unpredictable. This is why it is said that not even God can judge us till the last day. This is why He controls the entire universe but He does not control the human mind because He wants to give us the freedom to make our own choices. Such is the unlimited amount of freedom the human mind has. Such is the power of the human mind. Thus, it comes to no surprise as to why the human brain is scientifically proven to be the most complex matter in the universe. Living for the moment is what we need. As pointed out above, God created everything and has total control over them. Nature is created for us too. For us to enjoy and immerse ourselves in appreciation of it. This oneness and sense of belonging comes from living for the moment. Living for the moment includes observing the blossoming of a flower while walking past our neighbour’s house. Living for the moment includes taking time to watch the sunrise while going to school, work or the like. Living for the moment includes listening to the sound of crickets at night while relaxing. Living for the moment is what we need. We know that yesterday has become history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is our story. That is why we get to write it the way we want it to be. Sometimes we are so preoccupied with thoughts on what happened yesterday and plans for what is going to happen tomorrow that we do not even realise that the present day has slipped by without our notice. We basically go through the day then to get something out from the day. More than often, we are judgmental of what we see or hear and do not see or hear things the way they are. We restrict ourselves of daily actions mostly out of fear and lack of belief. These fear and lack of belief derive from the past and our mind projects them to the future. We allow our mind tell us that we will experience in future what we experienced in the past. Until we choose to live in the present moment, accept things as they come and respond appropriately, we cannot master the art of happiness. Living for the moment is what we need.

Shift The Focus Of Your Conscious Attention To The Eyes by Elysha

Shift The Focus Of Your Conscious Attention To The Eyes by Elysha
What you are looking for is right before your very eyes. In fact, it is flowing through the very eyes of this mindbody – that you mistakenly identify yourself to be – right now and you realize it not. A shift of focus of your conscious attention is required because there is no possibility of you seeing and being who you are while you are attempting to see this “you” of you via your mind – which of course, is where your unconscious attention is automatically gravitating to. The part cannot be the whole – not ever. “You” are the divine one in which everything arises. That means the body that you are travelling around in and the mind that you believe yourself to be are actually arising in this “you” – not the other way around. You are this nameless, shapeless and formless “aliveness” that is flowing through your very eyes right now. Realize your self and be the love that is already true of this “you” of you, where you are free, content and at peace in the fullness of the beingness of this one. Until you do so, you will continue to suffer the belief that you are something “else,” something “other,” forever lacking from the richness of the fullness of your heart. The love you have for your self, your innate desire to be fulfilled, content and at home in the heart will eventually awaken you to what you are not – this activity of trying to be the notyou-ness that you keep on suffering on a momentary basis. Then perhaps you may begin to “see” just what it is that you already and truly are – the one that is looking through your very eyes right now; the seer; this “you” of you that is the very motion of seeing. When you tire of the failure of who you think you are and its non-deliverance of the fulfilment, completeness and wholeness that you keep on hoping to attain; then you may well be ready to surrender and leave alone this motion of addiction to the trying to be of who you think you are; which is only an arising from within this “you” of you that is already flowing through your eyes. Realizing that who you are is impersonal, even as it flows through and animates a person – with no contradiction in the facts of it all; realizing that the mindbody that you find yourself driving around through is nothing but a “hollow bamboo” for the lips of the divine one – this “you” of you – to flow the song of existence through. In your belief of who you think you are – the thinker – which has not brought you to the self obviousness of this “you” of you, you persist in your misery of addiction and attachment to this chattering and informative mind as if it were you and that somehow some when, you – as this mind informed mindbody – is going to eventually get you “there.” There is no “there” in here, though. There is not even a bridge from “there” to here. Be deeply at peace in this one that is you – this “you” of you that is currently flowing through the eyes of this mindbody that you find yourself flowing through; the divine one; the heart of existence itself – or suffer the belief of the separation of who you think you are. It is as simple and uncomplicated as this.

Elysha is a Heart Master and sits at The Elysium Ashram daily from 10am – 6pm. Anyone who is interested in learning to get past the resistances that have you bound to the notyou-ness that you are suffering: interested in being the freedom of the heart; are welcome to come along and sit with him.

Tithing or God's Grace. Which Prospers You? Part 2
Welcome to our little chat about tithing or God’s grace . I was watching Christian television the other morning and listening to what they were implying. They were talking about the parable of the widow’s offering and making it sound like Jesus was just so pleased with the fact that she gave all she had to live on. After I finished stabbing myself in the eye with a fork I thought to myself, don’t these so called men of God know how to meditate the word.

You never and I mean never lift a verse out of it’s setting. Jesus always taught in whole subjects. The key is to find the beginning of the subject and then find the end. Perhaps part of the confusion here with the widow’s offering is that most modern translations put a sub heading right in the middle of this teaching as though Jesus had changed the topic which he clearly had not.

Here is how it should read: Luke 20:45 While all the people were listening Jesus said to his disciples, ” Beware of the teachers of the law. They walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted in the market places and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. They DEVOUR WIDOW’S HOUSES and for a show make lengthy prayers. Such men will be punished and most severly.” As he looked up, Jesus saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. ” I tell you the truth” he said ” this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” Some of his disciples were remarking how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with the gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said “As for what you see here not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.”

As you can see the beginning of the topic is the teachers of the law (or the religious hypocrites of the day). He then points out how proud they were and how they DEVOUR WIDOW’S HOUSES. How do they do that you ask? Jesus looks up into the temple to show you how she just put her last two small coins into the offering and now she has nothing to live on. In other words they taught her a doctrine that she needed to give BIG even all her living. In other words she just gave all her rent money or all she had to live on. Kind of like what we hear on Christian TV today. Does it sound to you like he is endorsing giving all you have to live on or is he REBUKING what is going on here?

The reason I know he is not pleased is the very next thing he says is” do you see this temple”. All this is going to be torn down. Or in other words I am changing this whole religious set up! No it doesn’t sound like he was pleased with what he just saw at all. It’s amazing what you can discern when you start at the beginning of a topic and follow it to the end.

Furthermore there is no doctrine in the old testament that says that the financial burdens of the temple should be carried on the backs of widows. Also in many places in the new testament Jesus councils us to give to the poor. Not take the last few dollars they have. How could Jesus possibly be saying that he recommends what they taught this poor widow to do. He would be contradicting himself.

No clearly to me this is a recommendation of what not to do. Beware of teachers that teach you false doctrine! Our giving should be a fruit of the grace and abundance he has poured out on us. If we are hard pressed financially God is totally there and will take us back to abundance by his grace and grace alone. NEVER do we need to give what we don’t have to somehow BUY God’s favor. It has already been provided for us through Jesus. Stay tuned for part 3.

Do Tarot Cards Still Have a Place in Our World?
In a world increasingly jaded by technology and progress, it’s easy to scoff at people who blindly entrust their lives to a deck of cards. We tell ourselves, we are rational, clear-headed people, so how can randomly shuffled cards spread on the table possibly answer all our life’s questions.
Tarot cards have had a crucial and inseparable influence in mysticism and the occult. They first arrived sometime in fifteenth century Italy, but it was not until late 17th or 18th century that tarot cards began to be used in divination. The tarot cards that we know today have gone through a long and evolution, from the pictures, symbolisms, procedures, purposes, and meanings. It is interesting to note that tarot cards were originally used in a game, with 21 trump cards, four queens, and a fool added to a normal deck, which totals to 78 cards in all. But it is unclear exactly how tarot branched out from a simple mind-diverting game into the fragile business of looking back into past lives, foretelling the future, and answering questions.
Tarot Archetypes
The highly-respected psychologist Carl Jung has always considered tarot as an alternative psychotherapy. For him, the rich imagery inherent in every tarot card represents archetypes of human personality and situations. Archetypes are basic models or prototypes of people that embody a defined set of characteristics. The Emperor card, for instance, can be thought of as representing the patriarch or the father figure.
Over the years, we piece together various archetypes according to our needs. These archetypes are embedded in our unconscious and thus they can affect our actions and thoughts without our knowing. Consequently, our choices of tarot cards when we pick them out from that “innocent” deck reveal our feelings, attitudes, and even fears towards such figures in our lives. For instance, we may not know it, but we have always shied from responsibilities and commitment in lives whenever there is a father figure looming in the background, etc.
Tarot cards offer an alternative language system through which we can access our Unconscious. Therefore, we do not just randomly pick tarot cards, or blindly entrust our lives to them. Every moment of our lives, we lay ourselves bare with the choices we make, even for something as papery as tarot cards.
The Missing Tarot in The Skeptic’s World
Tarot readings then should not be dismissed as just some pretend psychic business exploiting a person’s gullibility. The art of tarot cards is subtle, delicate, yet powerful. It is energised by centuries of symbolism and meaning created, expounded, and developed by people who dared to see beyond. For them, the Arcane that lies on the fringes of human experience holds the secrets we need to survive.
Before we question the legitimacy of tarot cards, we should first look into the person who wants to inquire about himself/herself. Will they see to believe, or believe to see?

Is There Something Missing In Your Life?
As you begin to realize who you truly are right now you will begin to see just how much in love with your self you are. You really do love yourself. It is primal. The only thing missing is your realization of just who you are. You have misidentified and mistaken who you are with who you think you are. You suffer that mistake big time. If the “spark” of desiring to come home to the heart has been lit inside of you – and for most folk this is not the case, even though everyone has this primal desire within them – then slowly slowly this “spark” will turn into a raging fire that will consume who you think you are. As a seeker you think you are going to “attain” something. Instead you are going to lose all sense of who you think you are. The fire of the desire to come home to the heart will burn you up. Who you think you are is going to die – because it is only a transient unreality, a falsehood. Currently you believe the unreal to be real and the real to be unreal. This is the nature of the illusion, it turns everything around 180 degrees. The appearance is not as it seems. Your attachment to this world of your imagination – yes, it is entirely created by your own imagination, day by day – will unravel as you realize just who you are. Every time that you dream – when asleep – you create another world of your imagination. You know what your dreams can be like and these are your own creation. Sometimes you fly in them, or go underwater without having to breathe, or are losing body limbs, or being chased, etc… You could be forgiven for believing how creative you can be. Well, this world that you find yourself waking up in day in and day out also only exists because of your own imagination. Now let the mouth of your mind wrap its laughing gear around that one! Who you are is not who you think you are. As you “see and be” who you are – come to rest as this one – you will lose flavour in and with the games of your own imagination. You will die to who you think you are and arise as the heart.

TACT – The Secret Law of Attraction
Fate… Serendipity… Coincidence… Karma… Luck… You must have heard the terms above, how does it happen to our lives? The fact that you are reading this letter is proof of The Secret Law of Attraction. Some might call it an accident. Others might call it fate – but right now – proof that the Law of Attraction can work for you is at hand. Are you in control? In film – “The Secret”, Dr. Joe Vitale bluntly say : “You are 100% in control of what happen to your live. Whether it is good or bad” How could it be? The Law of Attraction is commonly associated with New Age and New Thought theories. It posits that one should never dwell on the negative, as the “metaphysical principle of life” is embodied in a “law of attraction”: “you get what you think about; your thoughts determine your destiny.” It has been proven scientifically, that “Thoughts become Things”. Whether you believe it or not, it happens all the time. It is a universal law. You don’t have to know why it happens, you just need to know how to use it to your benefit and let it manifest in your life. It is the answer for everything that ever exist, the present, and the future. Most people are not going after what they want. People often set up a goal to do what they think they can do base upon the plan they have reasoned out. But that is not the case of so many successful people on how they think, and what they can do to get everything they ever want in life. Just follow this simple TACT formula – The Secret Law of Attraction – to get whatever you want in life. T – Thank you A – Attracting C – Creating T – Thank you First You must be grateful for what you already have. Everyone has something to be grateful for. The more grateful you are, the closer you become to the universe. Every day is a new opportunity that we should be grateful for, because it will allow us to get close to what we want in our live. Second You start visualizing whatever you want in your live. You feel it, you smell it, you embrace it as strong as possible, and then magnify it. Do it as your daily habit. By focusing on that image, you move into a new vibration. And you will start to attract thoughts to let you get to where your image is. When you focus, you move into a higher vibration. That’s when the attraction is accelerated and everything starts to flow. You can only get more of what you put in your mind, whatever it is. This is how the successful people got there when they build an image in their mind and they focus on that image Third Lets start by getting our mind into that vibration and watch the good that starts to come because one good thought leads to another. You start taking inspired action for anything come to your live. And you do it in speed, as universe like speed. Therefore, if you just keep daydreaming and don’t do anything, the universe won’t do anything to help you either. Fourth It is time to be thankful for what you have got in your strong and very focus visualization. You must be grateful that you have experience it Now. Not in the future. It is Now, in the present. The Secret Law of attraction is working all the time, no exception. Understand it, know exactly how to unleash its power to the fullest, and start applying its principles to bring into reality everything you’ve always dreamed of. You have the power within you! May the secret law of attraction lead you to everlasting happiness, success, and fulfillment. You may not be aware of its power – yet. But the Secret Law of Attraction is ready to attract the right people, friends, career, love relationships, and finances to your life right now. So if you feel your life is passing you by and you haven’t gotten all you desire or deserve, there’s an easy solution. Just pratice TACT – The Secret Law of Attraction. Make it a habit. You’ll discover the missing ingredient – powerful and accurate visualization – is hidden untapped inside of you waiting to activate. And as The Secret relates, once you tap into this incredible power inside you – nothing will stand in your way. Start your everyday by thinking positively and you will find success knocking at your door and lead you to better things Remember: The Secret Law of Attraction is working all the time, no exception. It happened in the past, It happens now, It will happen in the future… Again…Again…and Again

Personal Development & Happiness Tools: Fixing festering emotional pain, Part 1
Introduction: What’s festering inside you?

Would you be surprised to discover that there is something toxic festering inside you? Wouldn’t it be great to remove them?

Even if you think you are happy, you might have some toxic emotions hidden inside you, some of them for years. Any personal development quest or a search for happiness requires a seeker to deal with this, and the exercise in this article will yield some surprising results.

I believe that these emotions are not, in fact, hidden. Rather, they’re so much a part of us that we no longer notice them, although the toxicity still eats away at us from the inside.

We are used to hurting!

There is a physical analogy for this that I have: A few years ago, a minor spine injury I suffered in training began hurting so much that I desperately began looking for health care practitioners that could fix it. After trying many different therapies and practitioners, I eventually found one which worked. The pain disappeared for days. But after a week, my spine started hurting again, and I booked in for another appointment.

At first I was thinking that he didn’t properly fix the injury, and that it had returned. But it wasn’t the case. He checked my spine, and told me that in fact, he had fixed that injury. The pain I was feeling was in fact the pain that I have been carrying for years prior, caused by poor posture and obesity. I had become so accustomed to it that it didn’t register consciously. The reason it felt like fresh pain to me was because I had been pain-free the week before.

This is the case for emotional pain as well. Much like old physical injuries, they have a way of destroying your body slowly, sometimes without you noticing.

The reasons behind these sensations

These “background” resentments are a bit harder to understand then more intense emotions. Eckhart Tolle, in his powerful works The Power of NOW and A New Earth, states that they are caused by a few structures of the ego. See if any of them apply to you:

- This shouldn’t be happening to me.
- I need to get (a new relationship, a new job, more money)
- Something happened to me in the past that shouldn’t have happened.

All of these carry in common a theme of waiting ” waiting to live, waiting for something to bring you happiness, waiting for something to be cleared so you can be free.

Can’t you live now?

Tolle goes on to explain that you cannot live in the future or the past. If you waiting for a future event to make you happy, it cannot ” for Now is the only time you are alive, and the only time you can ever be happy. When the future comes, it is no longer the future, but Now. The same applies to past burdens. You cannot live in the past, there is only Now. Think about it.

He also goes into detail about the ego, which is the root of unhappiness, as well as the pain-body. I won’t go into them here, but he suggests observing the unhappiness ” a part of which is accepting it ” and it will slowly be transmuted into what he calls Presence (a deep peace and inner stillness). In essence, as you observe your unhappiness, it disappears.

Take action!

I agree with his observation method, but I also find that using a combination of observation and letting your emotions out safely and healthily work better for me, hence the exercise in Part 2. You’ll also find this approach throughout the rest of the Urban Monk site.

The Oneness Blessing (Part Two)
Two weeks ago I wrote my first article on the “Oneness Blessing” or Deeksha, and I said I would keep you up-to-date on my own experiences with it. Last week I invited my sister to attend a Deeksha and we made arrangements to receive it from a local couple, Angela and Shane Cottreau. My sister is a Reiki master so I was looking for an objective opinion as well as an opportunity to compare notes. I believe that we should be able to see definable physical results from the blessings or any other healing process for that matter. Although we are both drawn to the Deeksha intuitively we are trying to keep an open objective mind-if that is possible. Objectivity may not be possible if one is to let go and become the process. What I really don’t want is to react to the blessing because of what I have read or been told–no trances, no hypnotic suggestions or obligatory involvement. I want to judge it on its merits. I will be attending my third session tomorrow, along with my sister and her friend. We will compare notes and I will write another article next week. During the first Deeksha I noticed an involuntary twitching in my head as I was given the blessing. That is the only physical thing I noticed. However, during the week I noticed a calming effect. I went about my day job, and my writing and web site duties as normal. What I was experiencing was a non stressful week. Nothing was overly upsetting or out of control. I went through the usual emotions and feelings during the week but there seemed to be more emphasis on a separation of the body and mind. I have been observing myself go through the week from a distance, detached and compassionate for what I am experiencing with a knowingness that everything is alright and is as it should be. My sister also told me that she is not getting upset about things which have happened to her after her first Deeksha. So, we both concur on that one aspect of the blessing. We were told that because our own spiritual development may be higher we may not notice dramatic changes as someone who is just starting out. For me, that is just too easy to say if one is not noticing anything-I won’t settle for that reasoning. I don’t think the Deeksha needs to be defended if it works. I really believe that it doesn’t really matter how aware or enlightened one believes they are, there is always a long way to go and things should be dramatic but not overwhelming. I am also aware that meaningful changes come within the ability to accept change and recognize it. After my second Deeksha and during the week to follow, it has remained much the same as the first-everything seems to be floating. It’s kind of like having your first beer or glass of wine for the evening-you’re not as sharp as before it, but not yet stoned-you’re floating. There is one other difference that I am not overly happy about. I have become a bit sappier. Tears come to me easily if I experience outside situations which are happy or sad, real or portrayed on the tube. Without going into any explanations as to why, it’s really not something I want to experience. It may be an indication that I may have been emotionally challenged and there is work to do there. It’s about one hour and fifteen minutes before my next Deeksha. I left for breakfast a little earlier and while I was in the restaurant I decided to read the material I was given at the last Deeksha. I didn’t want to read it until I had several blessings, so I wouldn’t be influenced. Well surprise, surprise-the material says that one of the first things many people will notice after their blessings are related to the first stages of enlightenment. They will look at themselves as though they were separate from themselves. They will in effect create a third person. Well isn’t that what I just wrote? However, it would seem that I have been in this stage for some time. I have written several articles over the years and noted in my books, the existence of the silent observer-the one who stands over us and watches itself from a lofty position of indifference. So, the only real difference in what I have been experiencing recently is more sensitivity and an enhanced sense of the silent observer and a sense of calm. Well it’s another step along the way, but I do not wish to be stuck in purgatory so-to-speak. It’s time for my next blessing, so I am off. I will report any further developments in “Part Three”.

Why Did We Choose to Come Here When We Were Already Part of God to Begin With?
From: Why Can’t I See the Angels? pg 40-41.

QUESTION: Why did we choose to come here when we were already part of God to begin with?

BAWA MUHAIYADDEN: That is a good question. The soul is a part of God and the reason you came here is to understand Him and to understand yourself. You came here to know what God is like and what you are like. You must know what God is, what you are, and what creation is.

This world is a school, a university. You came here to this school to study God’s secret and your own secret. God created this place so you could understand Him and know how mighty He is, and so you could understand yourself and all of creation. You came here to take the test and pass it.

Does a mother give birth to a child and then just keep it in the house? If you were kept home all the time, how could you understand the world and its many wonders?

Your mother and father send you to school. Why? Because they want you to study, to learn, and to understand the world, yourself, and all the wonders. They want you to know what truth is. That is why your parents send you to school, and that is why schools were built. Your parents want you to understand things.

God did the same thing. He sent His children to this school so they could understand more about Him. There is the world of the soul, this world, and the world of the heart, which has within it eighteen thousand universes, paradise, God, and yourself. You have to understand all these.

The world is an example. God is the Causal Creator of everything, the inner heart (qalb) is an effect, and you are the basic principle. From the example of the world, you are the basic principle that understands the causes within yourself and the One who is the cause of everything. You need to understand your Father. That is why you came here.

Your Father sent you here to study. Just as your parents send you to school, God sent you to this world to learn about the eighteen thousand universes, this world , the world of the soul, the world of life, the world of wisdom, the world of divine wisdom (gnanam), the peaceful world of paradise, and the world of perfection, purity, and resplendence. He sent you so you could know your Father. This is just a school.

From: The Golden Words of a Sufi Sheikh p. 55.

O man, no matter what you have studied or how much you have studied, do not follow the ways of your mind with conceit in your learning. Ask a man of wisdom who is on the path and follow his directions. If you do not meet a man of wisdom, lay your heart open and ask even a tree or a wall. The power of God within your heart called conscience will caution you and guide you. It will say, “Go,” or “Don’t go,” “Right,” or “Wrong.” If your heart is open, your conscience will provide useful fruit which will benefit your journey through life.

The Art of Making the Right Choices

The Art of Making the Right Choices
The gift of life necessarily comes with a curse. For with this precious gift an inescapable question arises: what does one do with this life we are given? A century ago, such a question was almost unthinkable, at least for most individuals. There were few choices over which to decide. And most individuals had literally no choice in the matter. If they were men, they did what their fathers did. And if they were women, they either got married or taught in schools or worked in hospitals. Only in some cases were men and women able to carve out careers. Today, the situation is entirely different. Today, we must create our lives from the bottom up, and in every way imaginable. We have to decide how we are to make a living, where we are going to live, how we intend to organize ourselves around a lifestyle, meaning with what gender we will identify, with what form of education we will connect ourselves, with what type of friends we will engage ourselves…even what kinds of foods we will take into our bodies; and then, we even must decide the source for this food whether from locally, organically grown suppliers or from mainstream supermarkets. The list of decisions we must make is endless. No wonder that more and more people have become anxiety ridden. Confusion has given rise to a perplexity no other time in history can match. And as a consequence, more people are asking some basic questions. People are beginning to ask what is their real purpose; for instinctively they know that once the real purpose is found, decisions can then be made in accordance with that purpose. “If only I knew what my real purpose for this life I am living truly is, then I will know how to live it.” This is not simply a personality issue. No longer is it a feasible option to make choices based on requirements rooted in egoic self- examination. Nor can the old aptitude testing devises suffice in showing us the way. The world is changing too rapidly for such outmoded means. We have become permanently bombarded with an ever- expanding list of choices, so-called opportunities-each and every one of them promising us the ultimate happiness we all presumably seek. Our world is exploding. And so we are becoming more insistent. We no longer ask, “What do I want?” We don’t know what to want anymore. There is so much to want. Chasing after our wants has gotten us fragmented, scattered, out of touch with whom we thought we were. We have come instead to acknowledge the importance of first knowing, “What is my purpose?” Knowing our purpose orients us in the right direction for realizing a satisfying life. And to know our purpose, we must go deeper within our self. We must delve past our ego self to the core of our being. To put it precisely, this is a soul question we need to ask. We must ask, “What is it that Soul has brought me into this life to accomplish?” In other words, the real question can only be, “What is my Soul purpose?” What am I here to accomplish for the benefit of Soul? It must be understood that each of us is a soul being alive in a human body. We have come to the earth plane for two reasons: 1, to help heal the planet (restore its natural balance), and 2, to heal our self (restore our soul psyche to its natural balance). As souls, we have come into the earth plane innumerable times, first as innocent beings not fully aware of the distortions life in this dimension exerts upon the purity of our being. Thus, from lifetime to lifetime, our souls have become scarred. We have created karmic scars. Our soul psyches have gotten out of balance. And so, in this current age, our souls now desire healing; and this healing can only occur in the dimension in which the imbalance took place, namely, on the earth plane. We are here to help restore balance to our soul psyche. When the egoic self-which is our personality-aligns with the soul and offers itself in service to soul purpose, then it can be said, we are on the path leading to inner joy. As humans, we have been given life to serve soul. And as there are no two humans alike, so also are no two souls alike. Thus, there are as many individualized purposes as there are souls on earth. Each one of us must look within to decipher the hidden message that leads us to our purpose. There are many technologies for making this journey within, most of which belong to the realm of the esoteric sciences. For more than 30 years, the art and science of numerology has been for me the most useful, the most penetrating tool for this kind of self-discovery. Several years ago, I wrote a book titled “Numerology for Soul Awakening,” which addresses the task of uncovering your individualized soul purpose.

Questioning the Definition of Astrology, Our Ancestors Pass On Their Memories and Behaviour Through Spiritualism
Everyone has a hard time justifying astrology as a science due to the wide variations that exist within the world of humans. The definition of astrology is an ancient system of divination using the positions of the planets, moon, and stars. According to astrology, the celestial bodies exert specific energies that influence people and events. These influences may be determined by mapping positions in the sky at various times, but is still regarded today as a huge speculative issue due to the deep complexities and misunderstanding associating the field. What if the powers of Astrology had a deeper meaning, which stretched into the spiritual world and the ethereal planes of existence, including the very top-tier planes of power. Astrology is widely interpreted by every human on earth, but only a certain few have a defined ability to understand anything about it. A fair amount of people define astrology as “nonsense” and “childish” through lack of understanding. These are of course the usual human reactions to something we can’t understand.

How are the powers of astrology currently portrayed to the world? Currently, people manifest numbers and equations on planetary alignments, star locations, the apparent divine powers the sun has and also the moon. Their conclusion of what is the horoscope is usually the external scripture you will read. While largely amusing, holds little scientific merit. Astrology needs to be valued more than just this. It is a concept to be considered for all walks of life; it holds bearing to the time continuum of the past, present and future settings on earth.

The human race has existed for a great deal of time now and has since evolved heavily in appearance, behaviour, intelligence, structure, strength, ability, perception and so much more. Some people consider the present to hold the “maximum amount of people time has ever seen” but again we can only speculate about such mysteries told of the highly advanced civilization that apparently walked earth (theosophists define it as Atlantis, the real society and cultural name is unheard) and the age old question of just how long has the world existed? The documented time that has existed shows the definitive lives of several billion people, all born under the same planetary rotation of the earth, which is 365 days or 52.177 weeks. This universal pre-set time fixture of 365 has dated and cycled existence accordingly throughout several millions of years, and in that time has been rotating humans. Currently the study of astrology and namely Astrologists are people who predict the future by the positions of the planets and sun and moon. They do this based on their own interpretation and creativity, which can be as inventive as the person likes.

Astrology to some is just a shallow fabric of life to help them feel better by reading what is known as “Powerful wording” written by novelists and professional writers. It is widely under-appreciated the similarities that hold true in the definition of each human’s star sign. In that I mean for every 500 people born in August for example, on the exact same date, hold a very strong connection to each other in terms of their memories, philosophies, beliefs and behaviour. All things which astrology boasts, these are relations not understood by many. It is in that key of understanding and spiritual-thinking that makes people wonder how many humans were born at the exact same moment in time you were, only altering the year. If we were to find that spiritual connection, just how much like that person would we be? If you were to consider sun-sign astrology ONLY, this would be fallible due to the alteration of the physical plane of life, which is earth’s galaxy.

If you were to consider all aspects and relations, the planes of existence, powers to be and the akashic records, these spiritual points all connect to the “collective consciousness” Carl Jung was referring to. The collective consciousness is only Jung’s interpretation and hence a vague reference to the gateways he portrayed. Jung attempted to show the connections between dreams, anthropology and the dualism of life to astrology. His work always showed these links but the people could never grasp the concept of them, given a large amount of humans will only work on what they perceive to be fact-based evidence. The creation of humans defined by scientists is a great example of what can be construed as myth or fact. Physical items “prove” evolution to be the definitive, such as bones and relics discovered at different points in time. We believe this to be the truth because we perceive it based on our senses, which is as far as some people can stretch their mind.

This article is making a bold question to the beliefs of “Astrology”, the purpose intended is to get people thinking about the world and the deeper meanings it has to offer. Consider the relations, sources and relevant knowledge available to you and you’ll always keep an open mind to the question that everyone asks. “What is life”.

The Oneness Blessing (Deeksha)
If you haven’t heard about the Oneness Blessing or Deeksha, you have now, and there will be more to come. I received a book by author Arjuna Ardagh, in the mail a couple of weeks ago from the Oneness University called Awakening into Oneness, published by Sounds True. I am just over 200 books behind reading in my library, and because I have an arrangement with Sounds True to review their books-I started reading it immediately. Over the years it has been my experience that books come to me at the right time in my experience to answer questions I may have or to move me a little farther along in my awareness. It doesn’t seem to matter that I have an arrangement with Sounds True, or maybe I have this arrangement with them because they have a book I need to read I wouldn’t normally not buy-but the very first book they sent me was the one I needed to read. Although I understand the need for rituals and organization for the initiated, I tend to stay away from anything boxed, unless it’s food or presents. I read halfway through the book and I was already on their website looking for a blessing giver. The book so resonated with me that I had to find someone immediately to do the blessing-I found four people in my neighourhood who were trained to do it. I called a women up who was listed and talked to her at length. She gave me the Deeksha (Oneness Blessing) over the phone and I made arrangements to meet with her the next day. My belief has always been the shortest distances between two points is in a straight line-know you are already where you want to be and you don’t have to make the trip. Deekshas, meditation, blessings, prayers, are all detours as far as I am concerned-they are steps to take you there, but they are also diversions. They also go against my mandate of doing as little as possible to get the results you desire. It’s always been about being there for me-not the trip. During my adventure into enlightenment and awakening, I have discovered it is the trip that counts not the being there. I don’t believe there is anyplace to go. There is now and that is it. The Deeksha sounds like a pleasant way to make the journey more interesting and I have gone just about as far as I can go right now. I needed something else to motivate me. The Deeksha came at the right time and place in my mind. Because I am aware of the power of suggestion, I asked Jane, the blessing giver, not to give me any details or to talk to me about what I would experience before she started. My motivation for the blessing was to experience something more profound physically, not spiritually. I’m here now, this is where it needs to do me the most good. I don’t like promises of things that may come in the future-it does me no good now. During the Deeksha I noticed my head slightly trembling, this made me a little uncomfortable, but I did not try to resist. When it was over she looked at me and said, well, do you notice anything different? Other than the head twitching, I did not. She explained that when people are at a higher level already, they often don’t notice anything immediately. I decided before the blessing that I would not look for anything-I would keep my awareness open to notice anything different only. I know it is too easy for some, like psychics to say, that I simply chose not to experience what they saw. They are correct when they say that. My blessing giver would also be correct in saying what she did. So I am giving it some time. It’s been a week since the first Deeksha and I had another scheduled for yesterday, but the appointment had to be cancelled. Over the week I have noticed some things, but I am reluctant to make any judgments as yet. They may be a heightened awareness of some things I have already experienced before or they may be self induced because of a strong desire to experience them. I am journaling them and will have at least two more Deekshas given before I make these things known. Certainly the book is worth reading, and you can make up your own mind as to whether you want to have the blessing. If you are just starting out on your new journey, this may be like a B12 boost to you-you’ve certainly got nothing to lose. If you watch my web site for the next few weeks-I will be writing about the experience again.

Christian Divorce. What to Do When It Happens To You Part 2
Part one of “Christian Divorce” that I wrote got a tremendous number of reads so I thought perhaps I should expound a little further. As I said before I want to encourage all believers out there that are going through the pain and darkness of divorce. Having gone through divorce myself there are a few things I can share here from my experience that I hope are helpful.

1) You May Need To Change Your Circle Of Friends Or Even Churches

One of the big things you are going to find out is the church is mostly confused on how to handle the divorce hot potato. When I say the church I am talking about the circle of believers that are supposed to be there for you when hardship comes in your life. You are about to find out most of your friends won’t be there for you.

If you can find anyone that you can lean on in this time you are truly blessed. Sadly we like to shoot the wounded and avoid anything that may be awkward. If you are the innocent party in your divorce, and even if everybody in your church knows that, don’t expect anyone to treat you with grace and not judge you unjustly. Chances are they will remove you from ministry of any kind until this thing ” blows over” which may be years before it is resolved.

It will be hard finding a church that understands that your righteousness is only because of what Jesus did and not some holiness badge you earned that the church gives out. Somehow you have to qualify by your good works to be in ministry or hold any position in the church where people see you. Now if you do have a good church that is totally mature I stand corrected and by all means stay there and reach out. It is just that It has been my experience that they are hard to find.

Meanwhile they have painted you with the divorce brush even though you may be the innocent party. In any case if this is your scenario it is probably best to consider changing churches or even take a break for awhile. That way nobody can put any flaky judgments on you. There is a big difference between church doctrine and how Jesus handles this situation.

2) Learn to Pray and Hear God Daily

The best thing you can do right now is set aside time daily to cast all your care on Jesus. The more you pray the more you can speed the healing process. I guarantee you God is totally close to you with comfort and counsel to give you hope without any condemnation. Listen closely in your spirit and he will talk to you in your prayer time.

All those court issues need not have power over you to keep you awake at night if you are standing on the side of righteousness. God upholds his word and he will fight for you in court. It will turn your way if your spouse has lied and been less than Christian about certain things.

This is a good time to listen for God’s voice as he will guide you and speak to the things you are feeling deeply wounded about. The many hours I spent in prayer brought me revelation of the things I felt cheated by and gave me new perspective. Work out forgiveness towards your spouse. Time doesn’t heal all wounds, you and Jesus do. As a friend told me at the time ” life does get better” so hang in there.

Most importantly of all find and confess scriptures that bring you hope. You need to confess God’s word to your circumstance and not your feelings. Do this out loud in your prayer time. ” The young lions do hunger and suffer lack but they that seek the Lord lack no good thing ” was one of my favorites but there are lots more that are just as good.

Make Jesus your closest friend because he does have the answers. Remember God is walking through this divorce with you and he is wanting to unfold plan B seeing how plan A didn’t pan out. Your comments are welcome. God bless you.

How We Became Who We Are
By Leslie Reynolds Benns I love this quote attributed to Buddha: “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is every thing. What we think we become.” If I were to say that you are what you think and that you have made yourself who you are, you might feel uncomfortable and want to quit reading or, if I were there with you, challenge me. I ask you to just hold the information being presented here as if it were simply a possibility until you complete the lesson, such as, “Oh, that might possibly be true.” It is okay to disagree with some but not all of this information. Please just hang in here. What does the combination of our beliefs, attitudes, and values mean? What does it represent? Think about these questions for a moment to see what you come up with. I maintain that, other than my body that acts as a container and sensation register, I am my beliefs, attitudes, and values. In fact, I present myself to you, right here and right now, as a combination of my beliefs, attitudes, and values. That’s who I am. But then how do we get our beliefs, attitudes and values? As you may know, 80% of who we are now, we became at an early age. The estimate I’ve heard in the last few years is by about age three. So 80% of our personality is formed by around the age of three. After that, we simply develop strategies for living. Children are like sponges. They simply absorb information that then forms who they become. A casual remark by a parent becomes an absolute truth. Decisions made at this time are long lasting. And, unfortunately, we live in an unconscious society where off-hand but cruel comments made to our children are seldom taken back with an apology. Instead we try to justify them with thoughts such as, “They’ll never remember what I said.” or even worse, “Well, they deserved it.” And in doing so, a travesty is committed. The four major influences from which we get out beliefs, attitudes, and values are: • our family • our peers • our culture and the environment, and • the media. We have to ask, Are we conditioned by these four major influences, or do we have something to say about what we absorb? I maintain that it is through interacting with our family, our peers, our culture, the environment and the media that forms the basis of our personalities, which leads to who we become. We form our beliefs, they aren’t attached to us by others. While having influence, they do not have the power. We do. And this happens by three to five years old! With our limited fields of experience! And from these areas we develop both positive and negative beliefs, attitudes, and values, which from here on I will refer to as beliefs. And rather than referring to them as positive or negative, I will call them life-affirming or self-defeating beliefs ” the ones that support life and the ones that damage or defeat life and our selves. And how have we gone about putting our beliefs into life-affirming or self-defeating categories? It is our perception–how we see the world. Our perception is the mechanism that determines the outcome of those experiences. Our perception shapes the messages we get from life. And don’t we trust our perception? Don’t we generally believe that dial on our gas tank when it says half-full? That is, until it is stuck and then we run out of gas. There are many incidents in life where we find that our eyes fool us. Five witnesses to a crime may come up with five different and contradictory descriptions of the event and the suspects. So I present myself to you as a combination of both my life-affirming and my self-defeating beliefs, and I base all of these beliefs on my perception, which may or may not be accurate. Perception has nothing to do with the truth; it is just a particular way of seeing things–a point of view. This means that someone can be raised in the very best of circumstances with excellent parents and–based upon how they perceived the world, themselves, and others as a child–they still develop self-defeating beliefs. I overheard two elementary teachers talking about me. One of them used the word, “chubby”. I forever afterward was embarrassed by my physical presentation. Perception leads to thoughts, and our thoughts create our reality. Our mind and our thoughts are very powerful.

Good God, Bad World? (A conversation between Juan Carlos “J.C.” and a billionaire named Yu)
By Carl Pantejo, Pantejo@ynvurcepublishing.com

Excerpt from: “My Friend Yu ” The Prosperity Mentor,” copyright Carl Pantejo 2007 ”Y.N. Vurce Publishing. http://www.ynvurcepublishing.com

Note: Throughout this article The Original Substance is the name used for: GOD, The One, Gaya, Infinite Intelligence, The Universe, etc. Please substitute this name with whatever name/word you are comfortable with.

A conversation between Juan Carlos “J.C.” and a billionaire named Yu:

…I asked Yu about something that didn’t make sense to me; a nagging issue in the back of my mind. “Yu, I gotta ask you this question. If the Original Substance (GOD) is so benevolent and wants a win/win for everyone, why are there so many bad things (e.g., sadness, cruelty, murders, wars, disease, psychopathic serial killers, etc.) in our world? Is it merely our free-will, our ability to make our own life decisions?” I asked.

As a child, I spent most of my Sundays sitting in the congregation while my father delivered his sermons. In spite of this early religious training, the conflict between what I heard in church and what I actually saw became a lifelong puzzling and nagging issue for me. This issue (the concept of a watchful, benevolent God in a world where bad things happened) was one of the main reasons I never became a “religious” man. Coupled with some pretty nasty, shocking, heartbreaking, and soul wrenching experiences in the military; I concluded early in life that almost everything was a series of random events; especially when I would witness death (among patients, the enemy, many of my fellow soldiers, and even my father) that could not be attributed to anything else except “bad luck.”

Frequently, especially when a life event happened that I couldn’t understand, I would remember the comical little prayer that my first operational Gunnery Sergeant would say before we went on a mission. The prayer reflected his simplistic view of the World and God. After we completed all the final checks and before we started the operational phase of every mission, the Gunnery Sergeant insisted that all of us bow our heads in prayer. Of course, we all complied, mainly because we respected him, or feared him (or both). Then he would say, “Dear Lord, thanks for always rooting for the home team. And please forgive the enemy for being on the wrong side, Amen!” He was perfectly comfortable with his dichotomous beliefs. To him, things were simply right or wrong; black or white with no shades of gray. And in his little world, you were either a friendly force to support, or you were the enemy ” someone to terminate before being terminated by him!

I could never fully accept this kind of view. I saw too many things in my life that couldn’t be neatly categorized into the “good camp” or the “bad camp.” Unlike the Gunnery Sergeant, I couldn’t blindly accept the “God is always on our side and everything can be put into the big box labeled GOOD, or the big box labeled BAD” philosophy of life. Sometimes I wish I could, but I always had lingering questions.

Yu finished his beer, wiped his chin with the back of his hand, and started speaking slowly and deliberately. “J.C., I was wondering when you would ask that question. It’s very relevant to all that we have discussed today. I’ll try and explain as best I can.

First of all, nothing is good or bad until we say it is. In other words, until we ascribe a positive or negative connotation to something; that something “just is.” There’s a story that the Taoists tell about two farmers. One farmer’s horse runs away. The neighboring farmer tells the horse’s owner that he’s sorry such a terrible thing has happened and that now the farmer has to do his work without the aid of a strong animal. The owner just says, “Who’s to say what’s terrible and what is not?” The next day, the horse returns with a herd of horses he befriended while away. The neighbor tells the farmer that it’s great that such a good thing has happened and that now his harvesting can be tripled. The owner simply says, “Who’s to say what is good and what is not?” A few days later, the owner’s son tries to ride one of the wild horses, falls from the horse, and breaks his leg. Again, the neighbor tells the owner that he’s sad to see such a horrible thing happen to the son and that now the workload will be doubled. The owner just says, “Who’s to say what is horrible and what is not?” The next day, government soldiers ride up to the farms. They are forcibly enlisting young men into the army to fight a war. They have been taking all able-bodied young men from the neighboring farms, but leave the owner’s son because he has a broken leg. You see, J.C., nothing is good or bad until we say it is. It can all be good; or it can all be bad. It’s your choice. Never forget that the Original Substance (GOD) is everywhere and knows everything; things that we will never come close to understanding.

If you must deem something “bad” just remember that in every bad situation there is always some good to be gained from it; and that in every so-called problem or obstacle there is the seed for its solution; from which something greater can be obtained. You just have to look for it!

As far as the freedom of choice issue goes, yes, we do have free-will. The Original Substance (GOD) does not and will not dictate our personal choices in life; IT just supports them. And remember the Law of Cause and Effect goes hand in hand with the Law of Attraction. Call it what you will: Sowing and reaping, karma, or “what goes around comes around,” etc., but you literally get back and attract what you dish out. It is true that no bad deed goes unpunished. If you live by the sword, you die by the sword. Of course, the inverse is also true. Good deeds always result in some form of goodness coming back to you. In fact, in both scenarios, the result that “rebounds” back from the universe will often be many times larger than what was initially “thrown” out there.

Here’s a simplified explanation for this “multiplied rebound” phenomena. When you act or think, the effects of your actions and thoughts spread out through the universe like the ripples made when a pebble is thrown into calm water. As your effects travel outward into the universe, they touch everything in its path. In turn, those affected – from the furthest to the nearest ” respond with their own “ripples” back towards you. Each response is added to the group of “returning ripples;” eventually growing into a “returning wave.” Depending on how far in the universe and how many were affected by your thoughts or actions, the accumulated return from the universe could be the size of a small wave; or the size of a good surfing wave; or the size of an enormous tsunami!

So, J.C., to say that the Original Substance (GOD) is benevolent to everyone is a true statement. Things are things; events are events; they just “are.” We make them “good or bad” by our thinking. For example, one person might enjoy sky diving and think it’s the most exhilarating experience on Earth; while another person might be terrified of parachuting and instantly gets queasy from the mere thought of “jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.” We ascribe our own “goodness and badness” to things we see and experience; even though we will never know the big picture; nor will we ever understand a sliver of what the Original Substance (GOD) knows. And the bad guys in the world? Rest assured that the Original Substance (GOD) has already set down Universal Laws that guarantee such people will always get what they deserve in the form of a huge payback! The Original Substance (GOD) ensures that its Universal Laws are carried out perfectly, without prejudice, all the time.

My personal philosophy is that “IT’S ALL GOOD.” If something appears to be “bad” that simply means I need to look harder. I also accept the fact that I will never know all there is to know about Life and the Universe. That’s the Original Substance’s (GOD’s) job. My job is to do things in the Certain Way; creating instead of competing. This enables me to be, do, and have all that I can possibly be, do, and have. In the end, I get more joy; the Original Substance (GOD) gets more joy; and others are inspired to do the same.”

Until now, I had never heard any rationale that came close to resolving my personal “Good God, Bad World” issues. Yu’s concise disclosure of the way the Universe worked made a hell of a lot more sense than all the sermons and theological dissertations I’d listened to in the past. A giant light switch turned on in my head. I had the power to make life experiences “good” or “bad” simply by my thoughts!

And, as if he’d waived a mysterious wand and cast a magic spell, something miraculous happened to me. Suddenly, all the apparently “bad” experiences from my past didn’t seem to bother me anymore. I didn’t realize I’d been carrying around so much excess baggage; like an invisible sixty-five pound backpack full of bad memories. I didn’t forget those memories; they were still there. They were just weightless now; neutral, neither good, nor bad. Maybe in the future I would take the time to sift through them and find the good? Listening to and understanding Yu’s explanation made me feel weightless too; happy – almost euphoric. The feeling was delicious. It was like waking up in the morning from a long sleep and seeing the first sun’s rays on my girlfriend’s lovely face…

Make a choice for change
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2Co 3:18) The essence of God’s Word is to effect change. Just a Word from God can change the entire course of your world. Change is a choice. It is your reaction against the present that creates future. Judas heard the Word, just as much as all the other disciples did; but it did not produce a change in him, because he did not choose change. Having heard all that is said in this book, anyone who ends it all with, He’s just lucky. I have been working all my life, I mean I don’t know exactly what they are talking about”, is resistance to change, therefore, he remains in chains! When you don’t respond positively to the word of God, you remain in captivity, whereas the word of God is meant to set you free. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32) Judas heard the most direct message in the world (from the Word Himself), but he didn’t give room for a change. So he stayed on in chains, until he arrived in hell! That won’t be your case, in Jesus Name! Change is a choice! What information doe sis to provide opportunity for a change. But your response to the information is what determines your choice for either change or chains. For instance, Olympic star James Owens’ outstanding feats in athletics was as a result of the success keys his coach gave him while in school. He was probably not the only one to be an athletics star (determination, dedication, discipline and attitude), but he was the only one perhaps, that responded to it. And at the end of the day, he became a world record-breaker, a legend in athletics, whose long jump record could not be broken 22 years later! All because he chose to change. Change is a choice. It is never forced on anyone. It is a choice that you have to make personally. I would like you to determine for a quality of choice, because if at the end of all you’ve read from this article you still do not make any quality decision, then your frustration will continue. You make your choice, and your choice makes you. On 24th December 2005, I made my choice against borrowing. I said, “If it means wearing a pair of boots for two years, I will never borrow.” And I have never borrowed since then! “If it means not having food to eat for days, I will never beg!” I have never begged. If you enjoy borrowing that means you really need to work hard on yourself, particularly borrowing to eat. That means your stomach has become a god to be worshipped. I made my choice for prosperity; I made my choice for health. “I can not be sick!” There is nothing called luck. In Deuteronomy 30:19, God said “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:” So what becomes of you tomorrow is your choice today. We are all hearing the same things, but because we are not making the same choice, we get different results. Your choice makes you. Every change is a choice, and every choice effects a change. I choose not to be like Judas Iscariot, who had every opportunity but banged it. I am going to stay on and enjoy the choices of my life, as those choices continue to make me. Prosperity is taught. And everywhere it is taught, it is anchored on the Word, because the Word of God is the Gateway to the wealth of life. You can’t be tired of the Word of God, because when you are tired of the Word of God, you are tired of the wealth of life. You have encountered the Word of God on kingdom prosperity; now make a choice of change. Prosperity is the state of well-being, but a state of general well being, a state of rest round about. Please enter into it. We now have the best opportunity, having been taught the rudiments and ordinances of divine prosperity. You now just swim in it, by a deliberately programming yourself into it. The time to favor you has finally come! Remember what I said in the course of the teachings: your destiny is not in the hand of any man. Your destiny is in the hand of God and wrapped up in the covenant and sees your destiny established for you. Your season of flourishing has come! God has blessed you, no devil can curse you. Enter into your prosperity now. You will not be stagnated anymore in your life forever. Yours for His Glory http://ev.mu/

The essence of God’s Word is to effect change. Just a Word from God can change the entire course of your world.

Are you in a Synchronistic Flow and Do You Manifest Effortlessly?
The Principle of Synchronicity: Synchronicity occurs whenever circumstances unfold in a way to beautifully complement and assist one another, creating an end result that perhaps exceeds one’s expectation. When one is in harmony with the Divine current of their lives, synchronistic events occur naturally. They give confirmation that one is on the right track, as they assist in manifesting results more effortlessly.

Synchronistic events occur less often when one lives in the state of resistance. Living in the state of resistance means trying to hold back the current of one’s life. Trying, for example, to suppress an intuitive hunch within that is striving to lead one in a particular way. This effort can’t succeed, since the current is actually irresistible. But it can bring one to exhaustion. One’s human will is unable to stop universal will. Living within the state of resistance can only make frustration grow.

Instead, let these precepts point you toward creating more synchronicity within your life: Live in harmony within the Divine current of your life. Declare that you welcome synchronistic events occurring in your life. Stay unattached to their arrival. Let them come, just as you let a river flow rather than pushing the water.

If you have committed to living in harmony with your purpose, and yet synchronistic events don’t eventually occur, then simply make modifications to your internal journey. For example, ask yourself: Have I drifted away from the energy of trust to the energy of doubt? Have I been looking for approval from others? Am I truly living by The Principle of the Score Keeper?
A synchronistic event may take you in a certain direction that doesn’t yet make any sense to you intellectually. But such an event may indeed be the beginning of a series of events, an orchestration of circumstances, which will eventually make both intuitive and intellectual sense.

The Principle of Synchronicity says that meaningful coincidences occur once a level of commitment has been made, and an individual has decided to follow through with their commitment to live passionately and enthusiastically, offering a service to others. The stronger the commitment, the more dedicated the follow through, the greater will be the number and consistency of synchronistic events.

When a synchronistic event occurs, it is vital that you do not look at it from the point view of “I can’t believe this. This is too amazing. Could this really happen?” Regard the synchronicity as wonderful, but wholly believable ” a plausible happening in the life of a person who strives to be in harmony with the Divine current of their life. To achieve such a state of harmony, and to keep synchronicities flowing, follow these guides:

Be open to receiving.
Have abundant gratitude.
Take no ego credit for what has manifested.
Continue to move forward on your journey.
Your intuition is often what leads you in the direction of synchronicity. Therefore, doubting and not following through on your intuition decreases the number and quality of synchronous events in your life.

However, if you allow your intuition to become your intention, and then can take action while remaining detached from the results ” great results will come! You may not know what they’re going to be, but when they arrive, you will definitely recognize them as being what your heart wanted. Once you set intention, act, and detach along the way, the sparkles of synchronicity may start enhancing the speed at which the people, circumstances, and events manifest that bring about wisdom, assistance, and guidance along the way (or any combination of the above, selected by the Universe).
Your job is simply to step into the depth of the purpose to which you are born. You are going to fulfill that purpose somehow. Right now, how you eventually do it is not really your concern. All you know is that you have committed. Trust the journey, and declare that you are open to synchronistic events occurring along the way, to assist you in ways that you may not yet understand. And, as you remain open to receiving, also remain deeply grateful for the process at every step along the way.

Feeling Good About Being Bad
The terms good and bad, right and wrong are human perceptions which have no experience in the realm of the absolute. The words are used to try and compel people to feel something about what they are doing. This of course presumes the person is not already feeling something about what they have done. The words are also used to manipulate the person or persons into conforming to a standard set outside of themselves by others. Immediately after your birth you do not feel anything about yourself, you simply are. As you begin to mature you are taught right or wrong, good and bad because your parents have an image of you and how you are supposed to be, based on their own experiences. These are physical terms and affect the body only. In spiritual terms they are meaningless-no one is good or bad-they simply are. From the physical standard, good people are held in higher esteem than bad people. So if one desires to be held in this position then it works for him to be good. Even amongst bad people there are standards of good which are appreciated by other bad people. “He may be a murderer, but he takes care of his family and is a good provider, husband, and father.” It is natural for all persons to aspire to the next higher level of awareness or enlightenment. All beings try to better themselves, all beings evolve to a higher level of experience eventually-some take longer than others. All beings answer to a higher level of consciousness or purpose. Good or bad, right or wrong can never apply to this consciousness because it is perfect in all ways-it is always perfect. One never has to feel bad about themselves unless it is what you truly wish to experience. If you are feeling bad about being bad then it is simply a physical symbol you have moved away from what your spirit wishes to experience-it is a wake-up call for change. If you find feeling bad is not working for you, then it is time for change. It is insanity to repeat doing things which do not work for you, and are not a reflection of how you truly feel. How does it work to make another feel bad about themselves? You may get the physical change of behaviour, but you destroy the personality or essence of who the person is. If one is not feeling good about themselves, they have two alternatives-continue to identify with this feeling or change it. But one must know the feeling is just as physical as the act leading to it was-it is not you. Feeling good or bad is simply an opportunity to feel one way or the other and you can never be made to feel one thing or the other. Killers, thieves, rapists, are not inherently bad-they do bad things in relationship to how they interact with and are seen by others and the standards set by society. So they are emotionless beings acting in a certain manor, opening up opportunities to experience one thing or the other. If it is the natural course for all people to evolve to a higher state of awareness and it is known we are all one people living within the illusion of individuality-it does not work for anyone to be good or bad, but to simply be-to do things which work for one and all-the whole. In an enlightened society we would teach people of their connection to each other. We would teach-you cannot rape, steal from, or kill another because there are no others-there is only one, and what you believe you are doing to another, you are really doing to yourself. We would not teach them right and wrong, but would make them aware that doing these things to themselves does not work and is not consistent with moving to a natural higher state of evolution and enlightenment. We would never give anyone the opportunity to feel bad about themselves by calling them bad. What about good-is it good to call another good? The answer is no-because if one is good in the relative world, then another must be bad. Doing something that follows a natural course to higher awareness is its own reward. It is not good-it simply works and there should be no moral reward attached to it-it is not necessary and it creates a false moral image-a judgment about this person and another-once again it is someone else’s standards. A bad person is not bad, as a good person is not good-they are simply doing good or bad things as judged by another who doesn’t even exist. It is one judging oneself because we give opportunity for judgment. It doesn’t mean we have to accept it. It is an exercise in futility as it does not bring one to a higher state. It simply alters your present experience. Over all, in its history, religious moral code has not done anything positive to alter the behaviour of man, because it has taken man away from his true self-which is perfection. Man is not good or bad-he simply acts one way or the other. To say so, is to deny the existence of the soul which is perfect. We must treat each other neither as good nor bad. We must observe ones behaviour as working or not working. We can guide the person back to a path of higher evolution or experience of perfection, as one who has already evolved without moral judgment. In truth we do not or can not evolve, we are simply reminded of our own completion and perfection. We expand our awareness of our own state of being all things. The paradox is we are the experience of good and bad but we are not good and bad. We are all things experiencing being all things. You are not the things you are called. You experience the things you are called. I am not saying a killer should feel good about what he does, nor am I saying he should feel bad either. I am saying feeling bad will not bring him to a higher state of awareness and experience. However, feeling good about being alive and understanding his connection to others will bring him to a state of awareness which creates desire to do so called good things-things which work for the purpose of one. All of us are killers at some level of consciousness because of our oneness. We all share in the experience of killing, raping, and stealing. The awareness of these things is beneficial in it gives opportunities for choice as to whether to participate or not. No one can be raped, killed, or be a victim of theft unless at some level of consciousness they have agreed to participate. There are no innocent victims. Because of our internal connection, so called victims make themselves available to be victimized. To call a perpetrator bad is to call yourself bad for having participated in the experience-it doesn’t work. Be aware of how this works and you will never be a victim. Victomhood is as much a desired state as any other experience. Good and bad are human perceptions used to evoke a preferred response from you. When you buy into these terms you are a victim. If you understand your own perfection you will desire to only experience things which are perfect. Demoralization does not bring one back to perfection. It always creates less than what you expect.

Using Positive Affirmations to Achieve Success

Using Positive Affirmations to Achieve Success
Although people do not always realize it, they can often be limited in what they can achieve by mental boundaries. These mental boundaries can in turn be overcome by positive affirmations and affirmation enhancement. When a person is mentally limited, they may find that they are unable to complete a task or goal that they are aiming for. Whether this is career progression, overcoming money problems or even passing a driving test; being able to understand and achieve your full potential can be difficult. Very few people manage to achieve exactly what they want to in life. Those that manage to achieve everything that they want to tend to be good at entering into a dialogue with their sub-conscious and they also tend to be open-minded as far as their perception of the potential for human-achievement goes. Positive affirmations help people achieve what they want to, and live a more fulfilling life; those that are able to free their mind to the potential for physiological modeling often manage to achieve much more than those who are skeptical from the outset. While some people may decide that they wish to achieve financial success, others may wish to find love, or re-unite with their family for example. The truth is that everyone has the power within, and the ability to absorb enough power, to achieve their absolute full potential ” through using the process of affirmation enhancement coupled with daily affirmation you can achieve exactly what you have set as your goals. While goal setting is important, you should not lose sight of how you enjoy yourself on a daily basis. That is why, with experience, you may start to use your daily affirmations as a means of ensuring that you are able to enjoy yourself on a day-to-day basis, as well as achieving strategic happiness. As people realize, our goals can often change. One day we may wish that we were able to play an instrument for example, and then as we start to learn how to play it, the fun associated with it can often disappear. This is an example of a gateway to happiness, rather than happiness itself. For example, you may wish to learn to drive; however you only want to be able to drive so that you can work in your dream job that deems that you need a driver’s license. The driver’s license is a gateway, and in fact so is the job ” everyone makes goals which they set as a means of achieving happiness. Which begs the question: can you merely affirm towards happiness, rather than the means of getting you there? The answer is no. Through merely aiming towards your end goal of happiness, rather than the strategy to get you there, you will lose focus on what you enjoy, as well as the trial and tribulation involved in finding true happiness. While happiness is subjective, using affirmations as a means to get there can be the best solution for those with an open mind.

You Are Being Guided
We human beings are instinctively being guided to evolve. As with all creatures, we must adapt to changes in our environment to survive and flourish. We can see evidence of this evolutionary trend in our physiology, our society, and in our technology. Our brains continue to develop, an increasingly large percentage of humanity is becoming literate and educated, and technology has provided immediate access to billions of people’s minds through phone cells and chip sets. Satellite and Internet infrastructure is providing a “global mind” where we see and think the same thing at the same time, as one consciousness. The critical mass of what we think shifts the consciousness of individuals on a global scale. How we think affects the quality of our life, and even our survival. Each day of your life you are provided experiences where you have to make choices in how you think and behave. The more conscious you are the more those choices bring greater happiness and peace into your life. You have learned from your life experiences what brings greater pleasure or pain into your existence, and have adapted your ways of thinking, feeling and behaving to increase the pleasure in your life and reduce the pain. The more conscious you have become, the greater clarity, happiness and peace you have gained by evolving your conscious awareness. Your instinct has guided you to learn, and grow, and evolve to your highest potential, and it still is. You have been guided to these words to reflect on them. The more conscious you become of how you are being guided, the more you will see how you are being guided. The more conscious you become of the consciousness that is guiding you, the more conscious you become. Your consciousness evolves the more conscious you become of your consciousness. As you become more conscious you gain greater clarity, happiness and peace. It is only when we become unconscious that we think, say or do things that hurt ourselves or others. Only unconscious people hurt others, lie, cheat, steel, abuse or hate. Only an unconscious society disrespect others rights, destroy its natural resources, overpopulates or wages war. We evolve through the tests and trials of daily living, both individually and collectively as a society. Lessons learned help to evolve us, but when we are not conscious of what we are being tested in we fail the test and get tested again and again until we learn and either further evolve, or perish. You have been guided to this moment of introspection in order to reflect upon your own place in the evolution of your own consciousness, and the role you might play in awakening the collective consciousness of humanity so that we might all live together in happiness and peace. You are part of a rapidly growing segment of the population that is awakening to full consciousness. Your individual awakening is contributing to the critical mass that is shifting the consciousness of the planet; you are preparing the way for an evolutionary leap in human consciousness. You are building the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. From the heart, Steven S. Sadleir

The Role of Online Psychics in Our Daily Lives
“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant… We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift”… ~ Albert Einstein

It’s easy to scoff at people who purport to be psychics and can supposedly read the past and predict the future. After all, we have grown too comfortable with the present world, the one laid out for us by technology. Instead of us relying on our instincts and intuitions, we have our TV’s and cellphones and computers to do our feeling for us. We have become ungrateful complacent people who have forgotten that these same instincts and intuitions are the ones responsible for our survival as a species in the past.
What we don’t know is that we all are psychics; the psychic power is not just limited to a select few individuals. We are all empowered, but some of us are just more willing to see and feel and understand deeper than the rest.
The Rise of Online Psychics. Which is why today we see the rise of online psychics as both a technological blessing and pure human attempt to get involved in someone else’s life. Psychics, whether online psychics or traditional ones, are only after one thing: ushering in awareness and clarity into everyone’s lives. The popular view that online psychics are just another group of people out to cash in on gullible might be true, but this is NOT always the case. There will always be a sincere group of psychics and astrologers who have dedicated themselves to the psychic realm by providing psychic readings and advice, dream interpretations, horoscopes, and other services rooted in goodwill and positivity. The Internet is the free platform that enables them to reach out and penetrate to a wider audience.
As individuals, we owe it to ourselves and to everyone else to unearth and recapture our psychic abilities. Only then are we able to acknowledge the simple, inerasable fact we all are connected to each other. Holding this piece of valuable fact within us guides us in all our decisions in life, from the trivial to the grand, and we are rest assured that all our actions are in harmony with everyone and everything else.
Honoring our Gifts. Online psychics are our guides then in unraveling the many layers of characters we have within us, each of them crucial to our totality. Each character inside us is laden with possibilities. In our endeavor to fulfill all our possibilities and potentialities, we grow closer and more bound to our purpose in life. What better life is there than one with a clear sense of purpose?
So you see, the word “psychic” is not just all about reading the past and narrating the future. Those are just steps and gateways into something more. But online psychics? It’s not an impossibility to unify technology and our innate psychic powers. After all, it was humankind who created technology. We just need to open up more and strike a balance between the two.
Let’s have better, deeper relationships with our psychic selves. One that honors and remembers our gifts.

This article was written for PsychicGuild, an online psychic reading service dedicated to honoring and remembering our psychic gifts through dream interpretation, horoscopes, tarot readings, and other avenues of spirituality.

The Power Lies Within You

The Power Lies Within You
Your source of power lies within you. The answers lie within. Happiness and peace lie within. You know this all already innately. The same life force energy that makes your heart beat enables you to create the world you want to live in. The same innate intelligence that knows how to regenerate the cells in your body also provides the answers and direction to fulfill your life purpose. You have the opportunity right now to realize your own potential by simply taking some time to explore the possibility. Look at your life right now. What do you want? What do you need? What if you could manifest your desires? What if you could realize your dreams? Wouldn’t it be worth taking a few minutes to look and see what possibilities lie within? The practice of going within is meditation. There are many forms of meditation, but the one we teach is to simply observe your own life force energy or spirit. That which animates your existence is you. That which brings life to your mind and body holds the key to realizing your potential, realizing your dreams, realizing your self. Right now your heart is beating. Simply observe this. You are not personally making it beat. You don’t make it beat, and short of killing yourself you can’t make it stop. What is that that makes you tick? Find that, and you find the source of power within that can make all the difference in your life. Things can, and will, start shifting as soon as you have the presence of mind to seek it. Even your consideration of this possibility is awakening something from within you. What is causing you to consider this? What is compelling you to read these words? Observe that volition. Once you realize, that there is something to be realized, your realization has begun. Each time you meditate, each time you reflect on this possibility, each time you go within, you water a seed of consciousness that is already germinating within you. You have been lead to read these words by your own innate intelligence. Your spirit is guiding you to realize your dreams…to realize your Self. This self-awareness brings greater clarity, happiness, prosperity and peace. Don’t let your mind get in the way. Listen to the calling of your own indwelling spirit. You will hear it within the silence of your own mind. I will meet you there. From the heart, Steven S. Sadleir

How Can Gratitude Help You?
Gratitude is about living in the present moment. When we’re not noticing all the good that’s in our lives, we often keep striving to achieve more, be more, get more. Or sometimes we’re locked into the past, into what didn’t work for us then. Holding onto wounds and feeling angry or hurt by past events and people victimizes us and keeps us from the present. It takes away our power. Actually we take away our own power. When we’re in the middle of a bad experience, sometimes we don’t feel like there’s anything to be grateful for. But the negative thoughts and energy we are experiencing can be transformed or neutrallized by introducing gratitude & forgiveness practices into your life. Sarah Ban Breathnach offers an easy exercise in her book Simple Abundance. Her idea is to write down 5 things we are grateful for each day, either in the morning or at night. The items don’t have to be earthshaking, she says, rather they can be as simple as giving thanks for a comfortable bed at the end of a difficult day. This exercise works for anyone. It can make a good life better, and can go a long way towards changing the energy of a negative person. Sometimes people approach life from a “glass is half-empty” philosophy. This simple exercise can open our eyes to the positive that is all around us. Best of all, gratitude somehow creates a space, an opening for more good things to come into our lives. You’ve heard the expression, ‘like attracts like’. Well the wonderful energy of our gratitude draws continually more positivity to us. So find something small or large to be grateful for today! A Very Different Mode Of Attention Is Required For Self Realization
Once you get a taste of the immensity of your self, the heart, who you already are, you will naturally want to simply stay there and never leave or forget this one that is who you truly are. You will be so attracted to what it is that who you are is. You will. Unfortunately for you though, is that you will keep on forgetting who you are and you will keep on reverting back to that which has been so familiar to you for ever so long. You will keep on being distracted by who you think you are. It is like a stuck record. Now there is something that you can do from within this stuck and repetitive groove that you find yourself consistently and constantly reverting to. For you to do something from within this arena of distraction that you find yourself being distracted by, you will require a strong desire to be free – to be home, to be the heart, to be self, to awaken, to be freedom itself. Without a clear desire to be home you will only whistle around in the wind being distracted by whatever should “wink” at you – kind of like what is currently going on. If you wish to come home to the heart – to be what is already true of who you are – then a very different mode of attention is required to the ones that you are currently up to. There is a “motion of seeing” that is flowing through your eyes right now. This “motion of aliveness” happens to be who you are. Come to rest as this “motion of seeing” that is flowing through your eyes and you are immediately relieved of who you think you are. Who you are is unattached and unshaken. Who you are is lucid, silent, peaceful, alert and unafraid, without desire or fear. Meditate on who you are as your true being and try to be it in your daily life and you will realize it in its fullness – I promise you. You cannot keep giving your conscious attention to who you are – this “motion of seeing” that is flowing through your eyes – without you becoming unbound, unglued, unhinged and unstuck from who you think you are. “Stop and drop” and “see and be”.

The Oneness Blessing (Part Four)

The Oneness Blessing (Part Four)
My scheduled Deeksha occurred last Sunday as usual. This was Deeksha number five. Nothing unusual happened during the almost two hours my sister, her friend and I attended the meeting. Much of the time was spent bonding with the practitioners, Angela, Shane, and their cat. We were expecting Jane, another Deeksha giver to be there and add to the energy. Jane was the one who gave me my first two Deekshas. She did stop by for a couple of minutes after the Deeksha was over, just to touch base. In the book, it is reported that the Deeksha can be much stronger with others attending, either givers or receivers. Although the floating or calming feeling has remained with all of us, nothing different was noticed during the week, except for one exception. Tuesday evening was an incredibly upsetting night for me. I was at war with my pillow, mattress, and comforter for four hours before I finally fell to sleep. I couldn’t get comfortable and I was determined not to give in and get up-it was a mistake! When I did finally manage to get to sleep, I had horrible nightmares and dreams. I did mention a cleansing period in “part three” but I didn’t expect that I would go through this again. I went through this when I took up the “holosync” program several years ago. It’s not a pleasant experience and I thought I had left that all behind. The characters and images were old news that I thought I had put to rest. Neither my sister nor her friend has gone through this. I have had more blessings than them and it may come up later in their experience. Our next Deeksha was scheduled for today at the home of Angela and Shane. They weren’t there when we arrived and we have not heard from them all week. We were most disappointed and returned to my home to look for another local blessing giver. The book said it is common for seven to eight weeks to go by before one would notice changes and we want to move forward. I went to the blessing site on the internet to find another local practitioner. We found another listed with no contact number and another in a neighbouring town. I am beginning to think we are awfully hard on our practitioners and they don’t want to be involved. As a group we do ask a lot of questions and talk extensively. We are anxious to live out the Deeksha experience so my sister made contact with the out-of-town practitioner and made an appointment with him for herself and her friend later today. I declined as it is a longer drive for me. There is a local drop-in once a week, but that was also cancelled this week. So, it has become fairly obvious that I will not have a Deeksha this week. As I don’t believe in coincidence, the missing blessing this week must have a purpose. I remain…

Elysha gives you the exact tools required so that you also can be the heart that is true of you. – http://www.elysha.org/book.html – He is fully available and interacts with all who come, drawing every one into the same simplicity of being. http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=Elysha

Will You Give Up Your Beliefs For Spiritual Enlightenment?
If you are not actually interested in losing what you believe yourself to be because of your hoping to gain something called “enlightenment” to add to the repertoire of your belief, you will be able to continue pretending to be what is not actually true of you while thinking that you are on the road to finding your self. Why not? It is as good a choice as any that you can make while having no idea of who you are already. “Spiritual seekers” and the “western male mind” – which is not limited to males, it is a particular “mindset” and attitude that a lot of westerners have – are the least likely to realize who they are because of their disposition of thinking that they know. When in fact, all they have is a bag full of concepts. You can have all of the concepts you like. No concept is going to free you from the constant and consistent belief of who you think you are. Who you think you are is what you suffer. It fails you from “seeing and being” who you are. Who you think you are can argue all it likes – you are left with not “seeing and being” who you are, with an argument coming along for the ride as well. It is all very simple. You can be who you are but you will never consciously be who you are while you are defending who you think you are. Who you think you are is hoping to be relieved of its own movement while perpetuating its own movement. You then call for “grace.” You are waiting on “grace” to relieve you of what you are getting up to and actually refusing to let go of. This one that you think you are is the only blockage that you have from “seeing and being” who you already are. Who you are is looking through your eyes right now. This “motion of seeing,” this “motion of aliveness,” that is currently flowing through your eyes is who you are. To be this “flow of aliveness” requires your full focus of attention given over to this “motion.” The moment you “do” that – it is not a “doing,” it is a “being” – you have let go of who you thought you were.

For those of you who are ready to let “grace” into your life and create a change in spiritual consciousness check out Elysha’s website at http://www.elysha.org/book.html and Elysha’s Google videos.

Five Common Types of Insanity
There are many types of insanity in the world. We will talk about five common ones:

* The insanity originating in the brain,
* The insanity for women,
* The insanity for money,
* The insanity for intoxication
* The insanity for wisdom.

At a crossroads near a park, there was a shady tree. Five people with these five forms of insanity were sitting beneath the tree. They were talking to themselves. To the passerby, the five crazy people looked alike, but there were different reasons for their craziness.

The man who was mentally insane picked up all the scraps of paper and dead leaves on the ground and turned them around in his hands, jabbering to himself, “You went this way, you went that way.”

The one who was obsessed by women picked up all the scraps of paper thinking they were love letters. He muttered, “She wrote this, she wrote that. She said, I will come to you!”

The one obsessed by money picked up all the scraps of paper, looked at them, turned them this way and that, and mumbled to himself, “This bank, that bank. This amount, that amount. My bank.”

The one who was insane from drink stood up and staggered onto the road, bumping into people and things. Finally, he fell unconscious by the roadside, and robbers took his clothes. When he came back to consciousness he was ashamed, so he went home, fought with his wife, and blamed his family for his own faults.

But the one who was obsessed by wisdom took up a dead leaf and smiled wistfully. “What beauty you had when you emerged as a tender shoot. At first you were a lovely green color which soothed others. Then you became yellow, and now you are the color of earth. You are a dried leaf and you will go into the earth as fertilizer. Everyone and everything will suffer the same fate. Everyone and everything becomes food for the earth.” He laughed and cried, but not on the inside.

The man obsessed with wisdom laughed at his own explanation. He said, “What a life this is! O God, I search for You and become crazy. You are the only doctor who can cure my craziness. If You do not come, I will die like the leaf. You are the One who creates, protects, and sustains me. You are the One who understands and knows me. Give me Your medicine of grace, wisdom, and love and fulfill my needs. I am Your slave in this world.” His heart opened, and he surrendered to God.

The other four did not realize this. They were speaking of what was within them. But to the world, all five people looked crazy.

Son, understand these states. Do not follow the ways of the world. If you see one who truly understands himself, loses himself in the obsession for wisdom, and dies in God, you should respect him and learn good words and wisdom from him. That will make you exalted.

This is Your Time–the Time of Your LIfe

This is Your Time–the Time of Your LIfe
All events occur at the right time and place. It is no accident you were born in this time. It is perfect that you are here now and this is the best time in space for you. I know there are not many who would see it that way. Most of us are heavily involved in our physical lives to see the significance of our own existence. Nothing in the universe happens by chance or by luck or lack of it. You are here now because it is appropriate at this moment. You may never consciously know your purpose while you remain physical. However, at another level of your consciousness you are completely aware. Every new generation has a unique purpose and role to play in the evolution of the species. Every new soul born into this world is a product of previous generations and rebirths. A person of the last generation or so would not fit properly into this generation or the next. The world has moved past their abilities and understanding. Within the last 30 or 40 years there have been new generation kids born into this world, the indigo children, computer kids, and now the digital kids. Each new generation brings with them advanced skills that will move the next generation even farther along than they are. It is not with envy that I write about this, but with gratitude and acknowledgement of their existence. Although you may not appreciate your life the way it is now, you are fortunate to be on the edge of a great advancement for humanity. You are here as witnesses to a great change. Over thousands of years man has demonstrated he does not advance very quickly. Yet, in the last 100 years he has moved from horse drawn carts and smoke signals to computers and space travel. How can a race show such slow advancement over thousands of years then suddenly change over night? It absolutely blows me away that this can happen. Along with the technological advancements comes a huge spiritual awakening or visa versa. Do you really believe this is coincidence-I do not think so? The timing is perfect-you are perfect and so is your life. Humanity is begrudgingly realizing that it is creating the circumstances of his own life and in cooperation with the internal connection he has to all others. All of us are working together awaiting the arrival of the new species-the new human. What enlightenment or spiritual awareness does is allow you to see these changes and accept them without fear. You may be a homeless person on drugs, eating out of dumpsters-you are experiencing only one aspect of your existence. It is possible to change your situation with only the thought of doing so. Your thoughts, you internal dialogue is what determine your next experience. You always have choices even if you don’t like them. By understanding how you created the circumstances of your life and that you can change them in the above example-your life will change. You may decide you no longer wish to experience your life as it is in the dumpsters. You can end your life-still a choice. You may find a lottery ticket in the dumpster. You may befriend someone and they may decide to help you. You may save the life of another and find out they are wealthy and want to show their gratitude. All these things are effortless and can turn your life around. It is about knowing your life can change, that it will. Your human body is not capable of controlling the process. All you really have to know is what the end result will be-what is it you want to experience? I know from personal experience, this is how it works. Life is a wonderful buffet of choices. Every choice is a step to something else. With acceptance you are making an appropriate choice for what your higher self desires to experience, you will do so fearlessly. No matter what you circumstance and within this knowledge, you will find the peace you are looking for. Fear comes with not really knowing what you want and from experiencing what you think you wanted and having it fail. Fear comes from not knowing you do have a choice. Choices seen as failure make it more difficult and you will try even harder to control the process next time. If you see your choice as a step to the next one, it will have little meaning and a realization you have already moved to the next one. All choices are appropriate no matter how you consider them. In the time you have now, contemplate the wonder of which you really are and empathize this awareness to your ego. You can live from the different levels of your consciousness at the same time. Your ego can be aware of your spirit and its purpose. Harmonize them so you experience all your desires in peace and acceptance without struggle. As a spiritual being, you are the most beautiful, wondrous, and holy person alive. You are an intricate part of the puzzle which could never be completed without you. WAR Exists In Our World BeCause it exists WithInAsThru Us ALL…
“Only the dead have seen the end of war.” – Plato What if the most dangerous disease we’ll ever face as humanity, isn’t medically treatable? What if the greatest disease we face is our insatiable need to be right? We’ve continued to fight and kill for millennia, having long ago proved war’s inability to satiate this need? Is this disease without cure? I ask because I have it too. I notice it often. In moments, it feels all but incurable. Recently, I observed a symptom of this disease, uncontrollable anger. Not mine, but another’s. Perhaps you too have been witness to such an incident? A man was yelling at a waitress in a restaurant, demanding that his meal be free. The waitress was literally in tears, no longer able to hold back the emotion and the surprise of dealing with such anger so early in the morning. The angry man had all but finished his breakfast but was verbally bashing this woman, “this is the worst food I’ve ever eaten…” and “I simply refuse to pay for “such lousy food and service.” The waitress patiently waited for the man to stop yelling. Finally, he stopped long enough for the waitress to quickly say, “fine… now please leave before I call the police.” “Call the police?!?” He scorned. “You do that! You call the police! And I’ll tell them how you steal good money from people by giving them the worst food in town!” Now, what was truly troubling this man, undoubtedly wasn’t the quality of the food. At this point, he simply needed, beyond even his ability to express otherwise, to be right. I would offer that it was his need to be right that was the source of his public expression of anger. It had nothing to do with the waitress. He did however pull her and everyone present into feeling anger. An anger that lives in us all. Even now, sitting many moments beyond this observation, I can still feel the anger. So, what is it that made this man so angry? What truly motivated him to simply explode at the slightest provocation? And what deeply rooted emotional trigger did his need to be right set in motion? Admittedly, observing this experience caused me great humility because sometimes I too live with the symptom of anger as an expression of my own need to be right. I can remember moments when I wasn’t the kindest, and worse, moments where I probably made someone feel as the waitress felt that day. Perhaps this is a much more reflective story than it appears. Is it possible that this is true too of our joy and happiness, in equal proportion, as it is to the world of anger and war that so defines humanity? For war to exist in our space-time, with the ever growing prominence we’re living with it, it must exist, at some level, in each and every one of us, for it to exist at all. This we could either accept with humility and begin to make changes withinasthru our own hearts or continue to deny it, thus giving it even more power. What we resist, persists. But that which we look at, really look at in the reflective mirror of own humanity, disappears. We did after all, in all our humanity, create war. Are we then not the only possible solution to its disappearance? Again, that which we deny lives on. That which we can accept as IS, withinasthru Self, can again return to the nothingness from which it arrived. I challenge you today and any one who has ever exploded with anger at another, or at one’s own self, to look at the anger within your own heart and begin to forgive yourself for every misperception that allows the anger to live. Look at directly. Own the anger. Release your own need to be right. Be willingness enough then, to forgive yourself completely of this disease and be witness to how the anger which has lived withinasthru your entire life, begins to diminish. This is not only the cure to the disease of needing to be right, but it may be the cure to war. “The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.” ” Gandhi ***** Distribution We welcome you to include this content on your website, blog, MySpace or other web pages!

Human Nature vs Divine Power in Renewed Man
God’s plan for humanity is very simple; since the beginning of time God has planned for us to live the God kind of life, an abundant life- a life full of victory, joy, peace and power. In Genesis 1, we read about the creation of man.

God says in Genesis 1 verse 26, “Let us make man in our image after out likeness and let them have dominion… over all the earth.”

So, in order for man to completely understand their identity, from a God perspective, we have to find out how God describes Himself: what His nature is like, and the kind of environment He lives in. Although Adam bowed the knee to Satan and forfeited his God given authority, God sent His only son Jesus, to redeem us from this curse.

The Bible says in Hebrews 1 verse 3 of Christ, “ Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person”.

Jesus was manifested in the flesh to declare and make known heaven’s will for our life. Many believe that Jesus is our example, but really, Christ is the literal indwelling of the anointing of God- resident in every believer. Jesus did not come just to be our example, He came so that He might go to the cross at Calvary, pay the price in full, spill his blood to cleanse our sin and rise from the dead; in order that He might justify us in the eyes of His Father. When Jesus died on the cross, we died with Him according to Galatians 2 verse 20,

“ I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me.”

This means that the life I’ve previously lived as a by product of Adam’s spiritual decision to come under the rule of Satan, has been completely destroyed by faith through Christ’s provision.

The Bible says in Ephesians 2 verse 6, “We have been raised together to sit with Christ in Heavenly places,” It also says in Colossians 3 verse 1, “If ye be seated with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth. For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.”

This means my new life is hidden in the brightness of the Father’s glory, and in the image of Christ.

Luke 5 verse 38 Jesus said, “ But new wine must be put into new bottles, and both are preserved.”

The abundant life Jesus came to give is a life in the Spirit. The God kind of life is to be full of the Power of God and to cause the glory of heaven to be radiated and transmitted from our inner man where Christ presides to the natural realm; where God intends to reach everybody that does not know Him. In order to be filled with the spirit and the glory, God had to give us a nature of righteousness that has not been contaminated by sin. We have now been justified by faith, meaning ‘just as if we never sinned’. Our new identity in Christ is an identity that reveals truth to every part of our being and to the world because we have been born by the spirit, Jesus said. The Holy Ghost is the spirit of truth.

In John 14 verse 6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” The bible also says in 1 Corinthians 6 verse 17, “he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.”

As soon as we received Christ, our spirit man united and became one with the Spirit of Truth and the nature of God.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.’

What is the Connection Between God and Man?
“What is the connection between God and man? If God is unseen, how can a connection be established between man and something unseen? How can man see the connection? Is the one who sees the connection a man, and is one who does not see the connection also a man? How does the connection come?” A man asked these questions of a Sufi gnani. The gnani replied, “True indeed. Not everything we see or believe in is God, and not everyone we see is a man. But it is easy for a true man to see the connection between God and man. “God is beyond mind, desire, and thought. From a place beyond mind, desire, and thought, one who acts with the qualities of God, who does the duty of God, who hands over to Him the responsibility for the diseases of hunger, illness, old age, and death, one who does duty without selfishness and has compassion–he is in the state in which God exists. He is a man, an insan. He is God. In that state he can see the connection between man and God, which is made up of the qualities and actions of God. “When form is created, the ray of the power of God comes into each form. Thus a connection exists between the power known as God and the ray known as the soul. That ray existed within Him in anathi, the dark time before the beginning. The bodies that were formed with the ray of Gods power inside them will live with that connection. “There are six kinds of lives. One of them, man, has a connection to God. Man had that connection in anathi, and he maintains it even after he leaves anathi. Just as a fish dies when it is taken out of water, the ray of the soul will die if its connection to Gods power is broken. “Gods power exists for all time. But if man forgets his connection to it and establishes a connection to the five elements, to earth, fire, water, air, and ether, he will live and die with a connection to hell. “One who maintains the connection to God is a man, while those who prefer the connection to the elements are pulled by those shakthis, their forces and energies, and disappear into the karma of animals. They become subject to millions of births and to hell. One who is connected to God is pulled by that power and grace and will disappear in God.

The Oneness Blessing (Part Three)
Along with my sister and her friend, I attended my fifth Deeksha or Oneness Blessing today”one week following my fourth Deeksha. The past week has been an emotionally, physically and intellectually challenging period as I was at a rare all-time low in all aspects. I have been disappointed at the results of the Deeksha, expecting of course that I would be walking on water by now or at the very least be in a totally different space or awareness. All week I have been anxious, frustrated and impatient. This forced me into taking action, and I painted some of the rooms in my house. This may be a positive reaction to the Deeksha as I have had the paint chips on my kitchen table for three years, unable to motivate myself or even choose the colours. In parts one and two I mentioned that I have noticed less stress through the day. However, this last week it seemed as though I was back to where I was before the Deeksha. It may not be that I am experiencing more stress, but have become accustomed to less, and it is now the norm. The floating feeling is still there, sort of half drunk or in a twilight zone. I have been emotionally drained and only feel a strong sense of anxiousness, like something is going to happen. Like a bus that is late, it has not reached my expectations or it may have come early and I missed it. This is the state of awareness I have been in for some time now. So I am reluctant to say it a result of the Deeksha. It may just be that I am more aware of this feeling at this time. Often when one moves into a new awareness there is a cleansing period which is emotionally upsetting. You must get rid of the old baggage in order to have room for the new. The Buddhists would say you must empty your cup of the old tea, before you have room for the new tea. It makes perfectly good sense, and it is definitely disconcerting. My sister’s experience has been one of less stress as well, and the floating feeling. She says there is an awareness of a change or change to come. It’s like sitting on the edge, a knowingness that wasn’t there before, but you just can’t put your finger on it. Her friend, who has now had the two Deekshas, says she notices less stress and drama in her life over the first week. Usually she would have yelled at one or two people at work, but has not raised her voice to anyone last week. So there is some consensus amongst us. We are all experiencing the same things as we always have, but we are not witnessing them as drama, and with indifference, as events which pass quickly. I finished the book last week and wished I had waited longer. I read about people who have experienced radical and profound events after the Deeksha. Their lives have been completely turned around and miracles have happened”while others have been disappointed and angered by the lack of results. I am somewhat of the later. My expectations are still high, but I am impatient. Spiritually however, radical change may not work for me. One can only accept change within one’s ability to adjust to it”within the purpose or positive benefit of the experience. Being overwhelmed may not work for many. It may be like something whizzing though your field of vision at super sonic sound”you may feel the effects, but the experience would not be complete or meaningful. I will schedule another Deeksha for next week, but I’m not sure if I will report on it. I am not really sure about my objectivity and ability to note the subtle changes which may benefit you or help you decide to try it out. However, it wouldn’t hurt for you to read the book in the mean time, so I will repeat the name of it here. It’s written by Arjuna Ardagh and is titled “Awakening into Oneness.” ISBN: 978-1-59179-573-5

Our Thoughts Create our Reality
By Leslie Reynolds Benns Who are the most honest people in the world? Take the time to think a minute. Who are the most honest? I say it is young children who are most honest–very young children, who call it the way they see it. The ones who are spontaneous. Naive. Without political correctness. Who haven’t been taught that lying works, and haven’t been punished for what they say. Who haven’t yet adopted our agenda in life. They don’t have those voices in their heads that tell them what they can and cannot be or do. That they are ugly. Or stupid. I believe we all came into this world with certain characteristics such as the following: Honest, Loving and Lovable, Accepting, often to our detriment, taking what went on around us as normal. Equal, at the level of being and our human rights, Valuable, “Save the Women and Children,” With Purpose, for example, to learn and to grow. We learn by trial and error with no embarrassment for making mistakes. Deserving, In the Now [Present], Feeling, Innocent, Spontaneous So, if this is how we started out, what happened? We began to develop self-defeating beliefs that we then held as real and true. And even worse, held these beliefs as valid representations of who we were. Let me demonstrate this concept to you. You’ve heard before that if a child hears that they are stupid enough times, whether it’s actually said or they merely perceive it being said, eventually they’ll believe it. And our thoughts create our future. If I believe I’m stupid, then how do I act? Stupidly. And how does the universe treat me? As if I’m stupid. Because people and the universe just show up to us based on our beliefs. That’s how it works. Please look into your own life for examples of self-defeating beliefs. Look at the following sentence, think about it, and then fill in the blank–with as many words as you can. I’m not ________ enough. I’m not good enough. I’m not handsome enough. I’m not smart enough. I’m not tall enough. I’m not pretty enough. I’m not loving enough. I’m not spiritual enough. I’m not short enough. I’m not skinny enough. I’m not fat enough. Ad infinitum. Each one of these self-defeating beliefs is held as true for us, and we begin to operate with not only fixed beliefs but also fixed behaviors and fixed emotions. And each of the beliefs separates us from that honest child within, so we end up with layers upon layers of self-defeating beliefs that hide those glorious qualities that we brought with us into the world. You can look at the self-defeating beliefs you formed around your looks, your fears, your “shoulds” and “can’ts,” your better than and less than. And frequently we turn injunctions such as Be good, Be strong, and Work hard (and the perceived Be Perfect–an impossibility) into negative beliefs about ourselves. We have issues about authority, guilt and shame, what success means, winning or losing, good vs. bad, ourselves or others as undeserving, hatred, racism, the roles of women, the roles of men, scarcity, criticism, and resentment. Do you believe that love has to be earned? Or do your actions indicate that you believe that love is earned? The list of beliefs goes on and on. And who we were created to be gets further and further lost in the morass of beliefs. So if these beliefs have become one of my layers, then that is how I present myself. And that is exactly what the universe validates. The job of the universe is just to show up to me based on my belief system. It doesn’t know the difference between positive and negative. If I do not feel good enough, how does my life look so far? If I have a belief that I’m bad, how has my life looked so far? So if a relationship isn’t working for me, who is that about? I maintain that it is always about me. Always. We may repeat the same errors in relationships over and over again until we get this point. It is always about us. From a dispassionate point of view, events are just events–until we attach meaning to them. Events are just events until we make them mean something. And remember that innocent children take everything personally. They hurt deeply and may try to protect themselves from hurting. We develop a huge number of layers of beliefs that do not work for us and cause an enormous amount of pain. Often they can result even in physical illness. For reference, see Louise Hay’s book You Can Heal your Life for possible self-defeating beliefs that can underlie our physical symptoms. Negative self-defeating beliefs contradict our true nature, and our bodies react to them with illness. It is time for us to separate our behavior from who we are. As a result of our self-defeating belief systems, many of us live unhappy, depressed, and unsatisfied lives, always sabotaging anything good in our lives, because we don’t feel like we ‘deserve’ full, happy, and satisfying lives. We seldom find out what is really going on with us and that there is a solution.

God Idea or Just A Good Idea?

God Idea or Just A Good Idea?
Are you doing things for God or are you doing the things of God? Does it seem odd to you that churches are always starting building programs, buying sound systems, or starting projects they can’t seem to afford. Every Sunday they spend more and more time grinding out offerings and perverting scripture to crank out the bucks for these projects. Then they insist God told them to do it.

What we need to understand is there is the permissible, and the perfect will of God. It is possible to do programs or ministries that WE have invented to do. Don’t get me wrong God will bless it as far as he can. You can’t give a cup of cold water in his name and lose your blessing. I believe that ministries that the Lord is truly behind and leading you into, and that are in the perfect will of God, will be supernaturally financed by God. There will be no need for begging, whining, or sending out appeal letters for money. Where the Lord leads the Lord provides.

I know of a teaching ministry who began his ministry with rather odd instructions from God. He was told to send out all his teaching tapes for free, pay for tape duplication, buy the postage and the envelopes, and never let another human being know of any need he may have. God said he would be his source. All of this he started with 10 dollars in his pocket and no source of income in sight at the time. He was told to go to God for any need he may have. Today this man’s ministry is worldwide on the internet and he still sends out no appeal letters nor does he take up offerings anywhere unless it comes from the pastor’s prompting. He is well taken care of and God has done countless financial miracles. I believe this is a man who has heard from God. To me this is a God idea and the way we all ought to operate when we start out in ministry. The things God tells us to do are probably going to seem completely bizarre but because God is leading it will be blessed.

I know of a prophet who spent 12 years as a pastor who became very unsettled in his spirit. He said it was like taking a bath with your socks on. Something just wasn’t right. Yet the church he was pastor of was providing him and his family with a good living. One day he was in prayer when he heard the Lord say he never called him to be a pastor in the first place. The decision to become a pastor was his and not the Lord’s. This man then went on to become one of the major prophets of our day. Kenneth Hagen is his name. It is very possible to get off track when it comes to hearing and moving in our call.

In the old testament when Israel was in the desert they followed the cloud. If they didn’t move with the cloud they missed out on the power and provision of God. This was a type and shadow of the Holy Spirit and how we are to operate today.

We can not always go by the written word. Paul was planning to go to Asia to preach. According to the written word in Paul’s mind preaching everywhere was a good thing however the Holy Ghost forbade him to go to Asia at that time by way of a vision. The timing of God is pertinent and he has a perfect season for all things.

The Holy Spirit has the perfect plan and timing for us in all things we do if we will spend time to hear his instructions.

What Comes After "We Are All One?"
We have all read them, Zukav, Holmes, Walsch, Ruiz, Tolle, Chopra, Casey, Redfield, Dyer, Williamson and others. They all say the same thing, “We Are All One,” “We Are All Connected.” It is human nature to make up statistical numbers-at least I am 95% sure of that. Few of us want to declare 100% to anything we know or believe-we like to leave room for error-we may be just a little bit wrong. Doctors now say that illnesses are 85% psychosomatic-why not 100%? I think there is a 100% chance they are wrong and all illness is psychosomatic. Why have they moved from only a few percent a number of years ago to 85% now? Who is drawing the lines on our percentages? We have moved from God being 100% in charge of everything, to the “power of intention” and “we are all one.” God is no longer 100% in charge of our lives-we now control some of it, and we do not have to look to God for everything we desire. Contemporary writers are saying “God is in us” and we are not separated by time or space-”we are all one.” So why haven’t they gone all the way? It is the next logical step in our new awareness to declare ourselves as being God. God no longer is in us, but we are God himself, manifesting in an individualized physical form. There is no separation because there is nothing else. It is the creator experiencing physical life in a human body-what’s wrong with that? The modern visionaries have come so close-they are on the leading edge of a new renaissance of spiritual awareness-we are all connected-we are all there is-one thought process acting as individuals. We are what we are striving to connect to. We cannot fully experience what it is to be connected to creator until we declare we are the creator. So I am God, manifesting in the physical body known as Roy E. Klienwachter. I can experience being God at the same time I can experience being an individualized piece of God, as I can experience being a father to my son, while experiencing being a son of my father. This would be very difficult to experience if my present experience of God is that of an anthropomorphic being. However, if I understand the creator is life or a life force-then I can already experience being the creator because I am alive. Maybe God said it best himself in Neale Donald Walsch’s book “Conversations with God”-”it may not be wise going around telling people you are God-you may be crucified.” In as many as three times in known history, humanity has come this close to knowing who and what he is, and it has been his undoing, in that he destroyed himself. Within the knowledge of being God and all powerful, there comes a very large measure of responsibility for the position. Humanity has demonstrated consistently throughout his history he has not been able to effectively control great power-he gets drunk on it and eventually destroys himself. For humanity to know itself as God at this time would be premature. Humanity is not ready to accept his true being or nature, and the writers, philosophers and wise-men know this-they are guiding you there. God has the ability to limit himself (he is all powerful) in his own experience in the human body. Limitations were built into the body and subject to the natural laws of nature. But in the true nature of who the creator is, he did not limit what humanity could do in his imagination and realization of what he desires to experience. It is possible at any time for man to move from his body if he no longer wishes to experience the limitations of it. It is also possible for man to create all that he desires if he only knows that he can have it. It is possible to realize the duality of being both the creator and the created at the same time. With the knowledge comes peace in knowing one is eternal and unlimited. Life itself is no longer a struggle unless one wishes to experience the struggle as a condition of living. While God may be experiencing himself as limited and struggling in one body, he will also be experiencing himself unfettered and free in another. In fact, in this world he will be experiencing himself in 6.5 billion different ways at the same time. If you can appreciate how this works then you can truly see the miracle in life and set yourself free from your own limitations. It is you (God) that wishes to experience physical reality. It is your desire to experience the physical life in your own unique way, as an aspect of the whole and as the whole itself. You are God (the creator) manifesting itself in the human form you best know as-who you now believe yourself to be. You are the most holy and magnificent creature every created-perfect in every way as expressed by your very existence. You do not need permission to be who you already are. There is no where you have to look to find yourself-there is only acceptance of this awareness. “We are all one”-”we are all connected,” and only God would know that.

Sadleir
